Days passed without a reply and Jin was starting to lose hope. Did that mean that she wasn't interested in him? She had seemed like the perfect match for him.

Jin couldn't believe he was even considering going through with this online match. He hadn't expected to find someone he wanted to get to know better, or even meet.

Meanwhile, she was rereading his profile for what felt like the millionth time.

Age: 31

Age doesn't really matter, but I'm glad there isn't a massive age difference

Looking for:

- Someone who doesn't want to be in the public eye, but will be okay if they are

So that must mean that he's in the public eye. A celebrity? Singer? Actor? A government official? I mean, I was joking before about thinking I'd be a good match for someone like that, but do I really want that kind of lifestyle? It doesn't matter. It's the person that matters.

- Someone who is okay with joining a big family

I wonder what he means by that. It makes me a little nervous to think of meeting so many people. Is it his immediate family? Extended family?

- Someone who doesn't mind spending time alone

That's exactly what I was signing up for. He must work a lot and probably travels often.

- Someone who doesn't want to go out all the time

We're so similar. Hopefully, that means there won't be lots of events I would need to go to with him.

- Someone who loves food

A foodie. Maybe he wants someone who won't just eat salads.

Additional notes:

- Are you happy with physical affection (hugs/cuddling)?

Yes. One of my little brothers was very clingy when he was younger and often asked to cuddle, so I'm used to giving physical affection to my loved ones.

I have a feeling he cares about his little brother a lot. That's nice. Hopefully, he wouldn't find me clingy.

- Do you drink a lot? Do you mind if your partner doesn't drink?

I do enjoy drinking, but I don't do it often. It doesn't matter to me whether she does or not.

That's good as long as often means the same thing to both of us.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath as she tried to picture the man who had been chosen as her match.

It was hard to know what a person was like through a questionnaire, but she imagined that he was kind and caring. She also pictured him as a quiet person since he was a homebody, but if his job was in the public eye then he was probably good with people.

The person she had pictured was too good to be true. He would be perfect for her.

Was she really doing this? Is this what she wanted? Could this make her happy? There was only one way to find out.

Do you want to contact your match?

Yes.
