Killer pov.
As the glare of the sun started to come up over the mountains and into my eyes, I slowly opened my eyes. I rolled over, feeling dust laying by my side, he normally sleeps in his room. Last night was different, he needed me so he slept in my bed with me. It was something about how much he fears for me.
I reached over to dust and cupped his face, he was warm and the sun hadn't reached his eyes yet. I turned back over, slowly getting up and putting my slippers on. I walked over the the big window over viewing the mountains and closed the curtains so the sun wouldn't wake Dust up. I love how dust looks when he is sleeping. Now that I think about it, no one else would be awake these early except for Horror and Nightmare. Horror is rather making breakfast or tending to his little ones. Nightmare is laying on the couch watching TV or talking to Horror as he cooks.
I decided to go to the kitchen, I needed some water so I can take my medicine. I walked over to my counter and pulled out some pill bottles, I have to take 3 different pills. I got all the pills I need and walked to my door. Before I walked out, I looked at Dust and turned back to the stairs. You see, I'm Boss's favorite and I got the penthouse at the top of the castle. That's not the howl reason I got it, horror and dust never wanted it and when I joined, I wanted it so I got it.
I walked down the first flight of stairs, onto the floor where nightmares room is. I looked in and only saw Error, netting in bed. I waved and walked out. I went back to the hall and walked towards the stairs. As I walked by the library I saw Dream, he was doing his everyday and night thing... Staring into the window, like a statue...
I quickly walked past the library doors and down to the next floor. These was the kids floor. First room is Violet's room, I looked in and she was playing with a doll. I smiled and waved at her. The next room is my Lana's room, she was still sleeping. I walked in and kissed her on the forehead. I walked out and the next room I passed was Nightmare's niece's room, Sun. Sun is alot older than the other kids here. She is 38. She is a crazy youngster. The next room I passed was the triplets, Snak, Crak, and chip. Horror and Blue love there kids. Snak and Crak where the older two. Snak being the oldest. All of them are males and they all seem strong. After there room is Dust's room. Nightmare always says that if anyone ever breaks in, if they got past horror, cross, and Blue, that they won't be able to handle Dust. Plus the fact that the storage room is right beside Dust's room as well.
I walked down the next set of stairs and finally I was on the fourth floor. Cross's quarters where right at the stairs, I looked in and saw cross was getting ready to leave, he and dream don't live here like the rest of us do. Cross was about to go get dream and take him to his house. It's kinda sad that dream isn't with us... I know I said he was in the library, he isn't dead, he is just not with us... I shook my head and walked over to blue's room, he wasn't in there, he was probably in the kitchen with horror. I could smell the bacon, eggs, potatoes and pancakes now. Horror always made the best meals. I walked across the hall and into the dining room. Horror now's me to well, he had already placed a cup of water on the table at my spot. I took my medicine and walked over into the kitchen, blue and nightmare where talking to Horror.
Horror pov.
I was making breakfast, my love, Blue, and my Boss, Nightmare where talking to me. I heard footsteps and watched as killer walked in. Blue and Nightmare had stopped talking and looked over at killer. Blue, Nightmare, and I watched as killer took there medicine. I looked back to the stove, focusing on making breakfast. I enjoy making food, everyone needs to eat. They are all so skinny, and Mel nourished. It's like they never had food as pups.
I started humming and getting plates out as the bacon sizzled. Blue and Nightmare had gone over to Killer and started talking to him. I placed the plates on the counter and started placing food on the plates. My mind was raped around Blue today. He was on his way with a third pup, My third pup. I have trained my other two pups, Snak and Crak, they are good young. Blue has been having doubts about if the pup will survive or not, he said it's been kicking for a little while and that it wasn't supposed to be kicking yet. Nightmare said Error was expecting a pup as well, it would be Error's first pup.
I took all the plates to the table and I walked over to the bell and rung it three times, indicating that it's Breakfast. I went to the table and helped Blue sit down, the killer, then nightmare. Boss always said that the mate comes first, then the pack member, then the pack leader. He said it was mainly for the future of the pack.
When Error, Cross, Dream, and Dust came down I helped them to there seats as well. Error and Blue got a little more than everyone else because they are feeding for two. Only pregnant one can excited the dining room rules of ' everyone must have the same amount of food' and below that sign is another saying, ' only a pregnant or a breastfeeding can have more' and ' if your a pup'
It normally takes around a hour for everyone to finish eating, we all take our time and talk to one another. I still wasn't done with my job. The littles in the castle still haven't made it to the dining room. I walked out of the kitchen slowly and walked upstairs, I walked into my littles room and picked them up, they where playing with the toy axe I gave Snak. I walked back down to the dining room and put Snak and Crak at the pup table and gave them there food, I handed Crak a plastic knife, he was the oldest of the two and had to cut it for Crak. I slowly walked back upstairs and got StarCross, he was in the library, sitting in the chair dream always sits in. I picked StarCross up and took him to the pup table. Now that I was done getting everyone, I could eat.
