If you would have told us,
we wouldn’t be here.
You joke about these things,
But we all know it’s true.
The world has been corrupted,
And you just sit back and watch,
as it get worse.
Why don’t you stop it?
Because you don’t know the truth.
If you would have told us,
There would be no lies.
It starts in our heads,
whether we think about it or not,
that’s where it begins.
Then it spreads.
People start lying to us,
and we believe them.
If you would have told us,
We might not have listened,
To anything the world had to say.
But instead we let them tell us how to act,
How to walk,
And how to talk.
If you would have told us,
there would be no pain.
We would have done better,
to live our lives for Christ.
We would have stood up,
For those we made fun of,
Those freaks.
Those Jesus freaks.
But because of you,
And your selfish ways.
We were cutters,
Drunks,
And thief’s.
If you would have told us,
That there is a God,
A God that could change everything.
A God that could take away this pain,
This torture.
This agony.
We wouldn’t be burning in Hell right now,
for all of eternity.
What kind of friend do you think you are,
keeping this to yourself.
Now we have to suffer,
Because of your mistakes,
Because of your fear,
your selfishness.
But we’re not mad,
Not one bit.
As long as you make us a promise.
No more “what ifs.”
No more keeping God to yourself.
Tell SOMEONE,
I wish you would have told us…
