We are humans.
A creature, like every other,
Our only difference is we are much more advanced.
But we've gone too far.
We were once focused on loving, surviving and discovering natural things.
It seems to have changed, we are all so wrapped up in our own little worlds,
Trying to get the best of everything,
We've lost our true being.
Now a huge amount of us put ourselves before anyone else,
In doing this, we forget the little things,
Like befriending a stranger, trying to be civil with one another.
We are humans, designed to live and love.
The latest technology shouldn't matter, the wars we have, they shouldn't have to happen.
There are very few people who have remained a true human,
Those people are whom we normally look down at,
Yet in reality, we should look up to them.
Will our true selves be lost in the future?
Will the true meaning of a human be forgotten?
We're nothing too special, so why do we act like it...
