I can't believe Darren was so foolish as to think that young gem dragon was not important, if anything that boy is the key to our reign being unmatched, many do not know the reason why gem dragons,
More specifically, sapphire dragons are so coveted, long ago the goddess of dragons who was the first celestial dragon, had one child of each element, water, fire, earth, air, lightning, shadow, light, sound, forest, time, space, metal, life, death, poison, illusion, chaos, and finally ice.
These were the first element dragons, but before them there existed her first born children, who unlike their younger siblings, were born from gem's not elements,
There was the topaz, onyx, Ruby, amethyst, Garnet, Pearl, diamond, jasper, lapis, peridot, quartz, emerald, and finally the oldest and most powerful, sapphire.
These were the first Gem Dragons, their younger siblings challenged them but lost, for the gem dragons possessed an ability that none of the other's possessed,
They had the ability to absorb the others power and use them for their own, not only that but they then gained immunity from their abilities.
When the dragon goddess discovered her children were fighting she sent them to Earth as punishment and forbade them from harming the humans, as well as trying to take over.
She wanted her children to learn to be at peace with each other, so she gave them human forms and created the dragon empire, with her eldest child the sapphire dragon as the first emperor,
Then over time as the other dragons had offspring, the gem dragons had children but they were born of element not gem, they asked their mother about this and she told them that the reason this was happening was because they were far too powerful to have a child with gem properties, if their is ever a gem dragon born, they will have the power to match even her,
It would be too dangerous to the world if more and more gem dragons came to be, this is the reason gem dragons, and especially sapphire dragons are so rare, sapphire dragons are more powerful than all other gem dragons combined, because they have in their blood the powers of the dragon goddess.
This is why that boy is so important, his power will allow our family to rule undisturbed for eons,
"Now do you understand why that boy is so important?!" I stressed, "Yes father, I understand." Darren says as he looks at me, "Good, then I expect you to have that boy under your control soon, is this clear?" I stare at him, he flinches at me, "Yes sir." He says as he stare at the floor. "Do not disappoint me Darren." I say in finality as I fade out. That boy is the key to everything, he and his children will be our greatest weapons.
