Present: "Just out of curiosity, how did every one end up here? What did they do to be sent here? I want to know what their past was like?" Oliver asks Lilian. "You have to be specific of who you want me to look at. The doctor, the head mother, the teacher, Kathryn, or the new caretaker?" Asked Lilian. "All of them, what is so bad that someone would be sent here." "I'll see what I can do." They both went and sat down on some old furniture. Lilian takes her index and middle finger and starts to rub her temples and closes her eyes, she sits there for a minute. "Ok I got it. Stella: She wanted to be this famous singer, and I see a sister is involved. The sister was favored they pushed her harder, wanted more out of here. But her sister didn't like that. So one day she took her sister and ran off. Later on that year, their mother died and their father killed themselves. They both ended up in an orphanage. The Head Mother and everyone else expected more of her, much like their parents did. Every adopted family wanted her sister, but not her, and because they wouldn't take Stella she said no to it." "What was her sister's name, whatever happened to her?" Oliver asked. "If you really want to know about her, why don't you go ask her yourself? She lives in the basement." Lilian says. "Ok now what about her future?" Oliver asks Lilian. "I can't really see her future it's hazy."
"Ok now who do you want me to do?" "How about Dr. Irvin? He's a Harvard medical graduate, how the hell did he get stuck in this shit hole?" Lilian starts to rub her temple again and sits there for a moment. "Dr. Irvin has always had a fascination with what children can handle, so he does these experiments on them. He knew what Stella was like so he knew that she wouldn't give two shits about us, and what we went through. So he took up the job as the house therapist, and the house doctor. He knew it was the perfect way to do his test. He knows something about the teacher, but it's a little fuzzy, I need to look personally into Mr. Curtis's past. His future, I can only look so far into it. The only thing that I can see is that he's with the Devil? And she is somehow going to screw him over."
"Now do the Teacher!" Lilian gets up and lights a couple candles, to help them see. She goes back over and sits down, she starts to rub her temples again and sits in silence for a moment. "Mr. Curtis, well first off, he's a pedophile. For some reason he has the need to feel sexually dominant to children. I guess it's because women never felt he was the sexually dominant one, out of him and other guys. So he has the need to be sexually dominant to children." Lilian tells Oliver. "And he's a teacher? Is that why he kept little Joey after? And Clair and that new kid Cage?" Oliver said outraged. "Don't worry Oliver he'll get what's coming to him." She said with a smug look. "And what about his future? Does that asshole die?" "Something evil is going to get him, his plans will be foiled."
"Wow if that's what those people are like then I'm scared to go on!" Says Oliver. "Well you're the one that wanted to know. I could stop if that's what you want?" Lilian told Oliver. Oliver looked down then back up to Lilian. "No keep going. Do the new caretaker now." Once again she rubs her temples and sits in silence. "There really isn't much to say about Daisy, she had a good family, a nice life. Nothing really special about her. The only thing is she is now possessed by the devil! She killed the twin girls the first day they all came." She told Oliver. Lilian takes a deep breath then proceeds to talk about her future. "He future is to plan to take over WordSmith." "Wow what the hell was the government thinking when they hired these people?"
"Now the caseworker." "She always wanted to be a big time reporter. She wanted to give the biggest news casting ever." Oliver just looks at her. "So she's not a caseworker?" "No she's just a reporter trying to dig up dirt on this place." Lilian looked reluctant to give out the next information. "Now she lives as a child in adult's eyes and as an adult in children's eyes." Lilian kept looking reluctant to give out any information. "She will end up breaking the curse, and telling the story about what goes on in here."
Oliver looks down at the floor, he kept staring at his shoes. "What about my future?" She didn't do the whole touching of the temple thing, it's like she already knew the answer to that question. "I don't know if you really want the answer to that." Oliver looked back at her with tears in his eyes. "Please Lilian! Tell me, I need to know if I live through this hell hole!" All she did was shake her head no. "I don't know, I can't see your future! Yours is the only one I can't see anything in! I'm sorry." She said with tears in her eyes. "Why not? Am I going to die? That's it, isn't it? I'm going to die in this hellhole!" He got up and kicked his chair. Lilian jumped a little. "That might not be it! It might just mean that you are going to have a choice to do something that will change your life dramatically! It could be the thing to get you out of here!" She tried to explain. "Or it could be the thing that kills me?" "Maybe. I don't know!"
"And what about your past and future? What happens to you?" Now she looks down, and a tear starts to run down her cheek. "Mine is the worst of all." Oliver just looks at her questionably. "No matter how far I try and go, I never change. I always stay the same. 16 and a freak, I do bad things, horrible things to people." She tells Oliver. "Like what?" "I end up killing the family that buys this place 50 years ago. I killed all 5 of them." Oliver came over and held her as she began to cry. "Why would you do that?" She wipes her tears away and told him. "Their kids, they were treated just as bad if not worst then us. Originally I was only going to kill the parents then the oldest boy came in a saw me, he tried to stop me, and he hit me. I noticed that because they were raised like that, they would do the same. So I killed them all. One by one, all of them died." He just held her for a minute till she stopped crying. "I will be forced to be like this until someone can kill me!" "So there, you now know everyone's past, present and some of their future."
In the next chapter: "I'm going down to the basement to see Cleo!" Oliver tells Lilian. Oliver is about to head down to the basement. "What are you doing?" Says Daisy
