Elf kingdom

Lunacrest smiled happily as she continued to walk with Korvald, all day he has been showing her things she never knew existed. To magic creatures that hide in plain sight and places even in the elf kingdom that the royal family didn't know about, she was amazed at the world around her seeing things that she never had before.
"Come on Lunacrest, there's one more thing I want to show you." Korvald said to her.

She followed him into a cave she had been in before but it still amazed her.
"I've been here before, it's always so beautiful." She said
"Have you ever been all the way to the back?"
She shook her head as he continued to walk, she followed closely behind him.
"Stay close, I don't want you getting lost."

As they made their way deeper small veins of magic started too appear on the walls of the cave; they soon came to a huge opening filled with raw magical crystals. As soon as she stepped into the opening the crystals glowed brightly responding to her magic, she looked around amazed at what she was seeing feeling drawn to the crystals.

"Lunacrest when I first met you as a little kid I saw greatness in you, but also great power." He walked over to her and put his hands on her shoulders gently.
"You are extremely powerful Lunacrest evergreen, I see greatness in you... go on and choose a crystal, choose one your drawn too."
"Really?"
He nodded and motioned her forward, she walked around as her hand gently brushed the crystals making them glow brighter. She picked up one that looked to be gold and white, she held it in her hands before smiling brightly.

"That looks like a good one kid, come on let's get out of here." He said
She put it in her bag as they started to walk out the cave and back to the clearing just outside.
"There's another reason why I brought you all the way out here." He looked back at her with a smirk.
"Why is that?" She asked, seeing the look in his eyes.

"To see how far in your training you have really come of course!"
He clapped his hands loudly as he turned to face her only to realize she didn't have a sword with her.
"My bad kid, I forgot you don't have a sword."
He used his magic to summon one for her and handed it over, he grabbed his own showing it to her.
"Do you remember what type of sword this is?" He asked
"Tricky question, it's not just a sword that's the Lancer I very powerful magical weapon... it can change to any weapon you desire." She replied.

"Good someone has been paying attention, now show me what you got my student don't hold back!"
Lunacrest looked at the sword in her hands before doing as she was told, she punched at him being quick and light of her feet. He raised an eyebrow as he easily blocked her and pushed her back.
"You're thinking too much, don't think just do!"
"Right, right. The less I think about it, the less predictable I'll be!"

She swung her sword, still being quick and light of her feet her moves actually threw him off guard but he still managed too block her, he knocked the sword out of her hands too see what she would do. She took her dagger out that was hidden in her sleeve as she used a tree to jump up and with her dagger she hit the perfect spot that knocked his sword out of his hands as well.
"Well done my dear! Using your surroundings to your advantage!" He said happily as he picked up his sword.

"I did learn from some of the best." She said softly.
"Yes, but what about your magic?"
Without warning he casted a spell at her but she immediately blocked it, the spell pushed her back but because of the shield it didn't harm her at all. Lunacrest created a ball of light magic that would explode on impact, she threw it at him with great speed and he tried to stop it the magic exploded. His hair stood up on all ends and there were ash marks on his face, Lunacrest couldn't help but laugh softly.
Korvold chuckled softly, wiping the ash off his face gently.
