This is a collection of poems regarding thoughts and experiences, adventures and precious moments with my wife throughout the fall season.
This time of the changing leaves and the cooling crisp air is my favorite time of year, yet so often I let the busyness of life overtake me and my favorite season passes me by. This is an artistic exercise of sorts for me to be intentional in savoring autumn and putting those thoughts and feelings into words.
Here also is my fall playlist of rustic sounds of bluegrass, acoustic, and folk music among a mix of other sounds that for me are a soundtrack to the hayrides, pumpkin patches, early mornings of hot apple cider, and late nights of crackling campfires that accompany the changes of autumn.
My fall playlist:
October Winds by Béla Fleck
When The Morning Light Shines In by Dan Romer
Waiting for the Sun by Milkeaters
Trains I Missed by Balsam Range
Never Going Back Again by Fleetwood Mac
Selah by Phinehas
