Third person's POV
Their 4th monthly exams had ended, and this time, Micah isn't confident of his answers in science, as well as Jasmin, Kent too. For them, this quarter of science is difficult, considering that Mathematics is involved, they even chanted, "Bring back the volcano, and constellation!" Although, they were pretty confident in English, since it was just all about communication. And in the other subjects, let's say, they're all neutral about it.
But tonight, the three of them are at Jasmin's house, each of them preparing for the prom later. Gladly, Jasmin's parents granted them to stay at their house to prepare themselves for the prom, since Jasmin's house is the closest to the school.
Luckily, none of them had bailed to get a date. Jasmin is excited for her date with Keric, Kent's with Maris, and Micah's with Jordan. They even promised each other to just have some fun, and to not cry at the end of the event if their dates bailed at the last minute. Jasmin even joked that whoever gets their first kiss with their date, wins. They laughed it out, and continued on what they were doing.
Micah laughed at every crude joke that Jasmin would always throw as she slipped herself into the bathroom. It was times like this that Micah would cherish, where he could be with his friends and not feel as if he was lying to them.
Both Micah, and Kent turned to the bathroom door as a small shriek and a thud came from inside.
"You alright there, Jas?" Micah asked, worriedly. "Yeah!" Came the muffled reply from Jasmin. "The floor looked lonely, so I decided to give it a hug!" Jasmin yelled jokingly.
Kent snorted, as Micah shook his head in amusement, then laughed. "That was awfully kind of you." Micah joked in a terrible posh accent that had the girls giggling, as Micah joined in as well.
After a few moments, Jasmin walked out of the bathroom with a slight stumble as she tried to keep her footing with the sandals on.
"Jas?" Micah called. "Yeah?" Jasmin looked at him. "You know, if the shoe fits, wear it." Micah said mockingly, as he got that phrase from his English teacher. "Whatever dude." Jasmin said jokingly as she shook hi head.
"But, you look absolutely gorgeous in that, by the way." Micah complimented. Jasmin smiled widely as she stood up straighter, fixed her hair, held her head high and walked over like a Victoria's secret model.
Jasmin was wearing the same dress she bought from Threads and Trends. The rose quartz colored maxi dress, with a pair of glittering beige sandals, and a coral butterfly pendant necklace. Jasmin did a small twirl, the dress flowing with her as she moved.
"I definitely look like a Disney princess, hahahah." Jasmin joked. "You already look like a Disney princess though, what do you mean?" Kent said. "Yeah, princess Jasmine from Aladdin." Micah said back. "I don't know if you guys are even joking, or not." Jasmin said as the boys laughed, Jasmin just shook her head in amusement.
"Who's next?" Jasmin asked. "Me first! I'm excited to see Mari." Kent said as he walked towards the bathroom, and began changing his clothes.
Micah, and Jasmin chuckled at how Kent is so in love with Mari. Jasmin sat down at her vanity and started doing her makeup.
"Are you excited to see Jordan?" Jasmin asked smirking, while doing her foundation. Micah shook his head as he giggled a little.
If Micah's being honest, he really is excited to see Jordan, and just the thought of dancing with him makes him wanna go already to school even though it's still an hour for the event to start.
"Well, yeah, I am." Micah said softly, as Jasmin smiled at him. "I mean, who wouldn't? Right?" Micah said, as Jasmin listened to him. "I mean, I've been liking him since the day I laid my eyes on him, it's just that, I've been in denial of it." Micah said, looking down.
