• Has the stupidest jokes and puns
• By stupid jokes, I mean dad jokes [Ex: When does a joke become a dad joke? When it becomes apparent]
• Doug is the type of guy you can settle down with and have a kid or two
• Speaking of children, he wants kids. Preferably 2+. At least a son and a daughter. But you can talk about that later
• Maybe even introduce him to your parents?
• He's the type of guy that can easily bond with older people. He fits in with their culture and your parents will love him
• He's extremely protective and almost controlling
• He doesn't mean to be, it's just in his nature. He wants to shield you from the evil of the world/ keep you safe
• He's a big guy and can come off as intimating and while he's not usually violent, he does have his days
○ ^He's never laid a hand on you, but he has thrown things that come close to your head
• Otherwise, he's a very sweet guy
He can be gone for long periods, so you can spend days, rarely weeks alone
○ ^While he's gone though you're the only person on his mind
• He worships you and thinks you're the best thing on planet Earth
• He can listen to you talk for hours while just staring at you lovingly
• You'll be introduced to Tom Hanson, since he'll be around a lot
• Doug has a strange ick about him. His loss of his mother makes him paranoid that maybe you'll leave him. Why, if his mother got sick of their father, there's a chance you could get sick of him and leave him too.
○ ^So, he'll keep dangerous weapons [Knifes, guns, hooks, etc,.] away and locked up
• He just wants to keep you safe
