(Rodamrix) "Two Birds" [SHORT STORY]

The ground below was shaking, almost as if the highest peak of an earthquake was rumbling the entire place. Mira HQ was quickly coming down in shambles. Imposters and Crewmates were rushing on past each other, as a blaring alarm ran through the headquarters that made the rooms a bright red every few seconds. A full evacuation had been ordered from Indigo an hour ago even since the top started to collapse, which had broken the helipad from above. The twins were joking along with each other right before the alarms started to ring, looking at each other and running towards the Hideout where almost every imp was gone, except Indigo who was getting a few baby imps under some rubble and handing them to their parents who immediately started to run after the entrance, pushing both of the twins away from each other, which they looked in horror to see Indigo panting, wiping his visor off with his hand.

Blue set off to grab his other hand, tugging it. "W-What's going on...!?"A quick swipe from Indigo and a low growl was enough to get your back shivering for hours. "Don't...talk. We need to leave."Red slowly peaked over toward the other pieces of rubble piles, seeing someone familiar within it, in which Indigo grabbed his hand and squeezed it. "He's DEAD, there is NOTHING you can do, we need to leave NOW!"Red held onto him tightly for a second before Blue gasped out loud, following them close by as rubble pushed through the ceiling and down into the room, filling it in seconds.

As the three started to run as fast as they could, what happened next was fully the unexpected.Cracking started to appear from the right of the wall, both except Red kept running. It was too late before the rush of rock and cement pushed through the roof and down onto Red. Blue shook his head in a quick disbelief, looking over twice and back to Red one last time before starting to rush over to him. "N-No...no no, hey no, we'll get you out of this, bro." The parents and Indigo looked over to Blue, seeing him trying to push the big hunk of rock off of him, the smaller imps grabbing onto him to pull him away. The situation kept getting worse, with every pull the walls kept collapsing near him, which the imps finally pulled Blue off, screaming heard from him as Red watched him try and pry them off.

It was no use. Red took a moment to breathe, his visor getting dirty from the rubble and dust, coughing. He looked back up to see they were gone from his vision, only Blue's screams could be heard.

Finally, they were safe from it all, Blue wasn't going to give up however and pushed and pulled at the doors, knocking imps away. Indigo demanded he stopped from the overreaction, Blue turning to look at him with a broken heart, gripping onto a pair of deep blue glasses in his hand. Red.As Blue got up, he held up a fist and punched into the wall once more before walking away from it all, collapsing onto his knees, wailing into the air, echoing around.Indigo walked over to carefully put a hand on his shoulder, sighing."We'll go back soon to see if anybody has made it, and we'll keep them safe..."

Of course, that wouldn't be the case for Red Eye.
