Dean Bliss stared at the computer screen, her wide eyes twitching. It was Monday morning. The first day of school. She had been playing video games all night continuously, forgetting about the time. She recently moved towns, due to her father's work. This meant she had to leave all her old friends behind. "Ha", She mumbled. "as if I had any friends". She looked at her wristwatch. 7:20. She had five minutes to reach the bus stop. Dean glanced down at her clothes: a simple t-shirt and dirty sweat pants. It was what she had worn theday before. Better get changed. She grabbed anything that would make her look decent, put them on and grabbed her things. On her way out she stopped by the bathroom, splashed cold water on her face, combed her short, black hair, gargled with mouthwash and dabbled a bit of cologne over her shirt -- all in about thirty seconds. Then she rushed to the front door and eyed the table of the living room. Her lunch bag wasn't there. Skylar heaved a sigh. Dad forgot. he must still be asleep. I guess I'll just have to buy lunch. Out the door she went, hurrying to the far end of the driveway. A blonde haired boy, her next-door neighbor, sat on the curb, leaning against the oak tree. He had on a rainbow shirt and sweat pants. His skin was pale, as though he wasn't an enthusiast of the great outdoors. He was about the same height as Dean. He had on glasses, and as he yawned, his braces shone on the sunlight. He seems to go to the same school as her, Rockville Middle. She stood by him, patiently waiting for the bus. He seemed nervous as he fidgeted with his fingers and avoided eye contact. Dean took a deep breath, glanced at him and said, "Hello". The boy nodded and cracked a tiny smile. Okay then. The school bus arrived just in time. Dean straightened herself and walked towards the bus, smiling at the driver. Her wallet dropped behind her. Unaware of what happened, she sat herself at the very back, plugged in her headphones and looked out the window.

The school bell rang. All the students hurried to their lessons, apart from some. This included Dean. She was instead, sat at the reception. Someone was supposed to show her around for the first two periods. She looked at her surrounding. There was a big lady at the desk. She had white hair and a freindly face. Her clothes seems to be knitted, with its odd buttons and odd colors. I wonder who's goibg to show me around. Just then, heavy footsteps could be heard running through the corridor. It was a tall girl, with long brown hair.

"No running In the corridors please," reminded the friendly-faced lady.
"Sorry! I forgot that I was assigned to show around someone new." The girl looked at Dean and smiled, "you must be the new girl."
Dean nodded. The girl held out her hand and introduced herself. "My name is Issa, I hope we.get along well, what's your name?"
"Dean." She mumbled and shook her hand.
The girl cracked a huge smile "What a nice name!"
She replied with an awkward smile. She wasn't very good at being confident around people whom she's never met before. Issa grabbed her by the wrist, "Let me Show you around!" And dragged her out of her seat.

The school was huge. It was big enough to have its own swimming pool. Skylar stared in awe. This school doesn't seem that bad. It had a big library, a canteen, a swimming pool, a pool table and FREE Wi-Fi. What else does this school have for her. Issa was beside her, crossing her legs and fidgeting badly.
"You okay?" Asked Dean
"I.... Can you stay here until I come back please? I'm desperate for a wazz."
Dean nodded, waiting beside to what seemed to be a classroom, the students and teacher in the middle of their lesson.

The classroom doors open one by one, all the students came rushing out. It was time for the second lesson of the day. Dean looked around for Issa, who was no where in sight. "Still must be in the.toilet." She sighed and slumped her shoulders. There was a gentle tap on her shoulder, and turning around, she saw the same boy at the bus stop. "Oh hey."
"Hey..." he whispered almost inaudibly.
They both stood there awkwardly for a few minutes, none of tjem have said a word. Dean opened her mouth to say something but was quickly cut off when the boy shoved something to her hands. She looked at him in confusion. He just looked at his feet and ran. She felt a little angry, because she was shoved for no reason. Her eyes fell upon her hands, and she suddenly felt at ease. It was her wallet.
She lifted her head towards where the boy ran off to, but he was already gone.
"Heeeeeey!" Shouted a voice fom the distance. It was Issa. She jogged over next to Dean. "Sorry I took long. Was everything okay?"
She nodded.
"That's good. Wanna continue the tour?"
"Yes please." Dean stated, before following behind her.
