The whole place reeked of alcohol
Everyone was shouting or dancing
The place was a mess
I knew I should have come alone

Cameron and Mackenzie wouldn't stop arguing over the last shipment
And Ronnie and Georgie wouldn't keep their fucking hands off each other
I was stuck between a domestic and a porno

I just wanted to get this fight done and go
I'd won 4 already
It was easy money, but I didn't need the money
I just needed to relax, and I've found the best way of doing that for me is fighting

I looked around, before a woman caught my eye
She was the first person in here worthy of any attention
Her dark hair, her body. Fuck

Strands of blue running through her hair
The way her hips moved when she walked
She was a dream woman
The ones you get glimpses of but never meet

She looked very out of place down here
She drew most of the eyes in the room to her
She was either a regular or she was too beautiful for these people to comprehend as well.

"What are you doing?" Cameron asked
"Are you even listening?" Mackenzie asked
"What?" I asked, looking at them
"I said Mickey is coming over" Cameron repeated
"Oh" was all I offered as I looked back to the bar
And she was gone.

"You ready Sinny lad? I'm going to start again in five minutes" Mickey said
Mickey was too old to be here
An old scrawny man with so much gel in his hair, I was surprised it hadn't drowned him.

"How many times have I got to tell you? It's Sin" I snapped, standing up
He held his hands up, backing up with a grin
"Okay okay, just hurry up yeah?... see you later sweet cheeks" he winked at Georgie before walking off
"Dick" Georgie said

"I can kill him when you're done yeah?" Ronnie asked
"No" I sighed, walking away from them

I never understood his anger at people hitting on Georgie
I never understood feeling so strongly for another person
I grew up in a happy home

A happy marriage between my parents
But I'd never understood the idea of love
But then I'd never had a relationship to understand it I guess.

I just couldn't see myself caring so deeply for another person, not in my line of work
Not when I already had a family to protect
Especially when my brother was as irresponsible as he is.

"The Devil!" Mickey introduced me, before I climbed up into the ring
"And fighting him tonight, she's back, she's undefeated, the one and only, Siren!" He shouted, making everyone cheer

She?
Undefeated?
I was fighting a woman?
She climbed up onto the ring and I could only stare at her

Of course it had to be her
The one woman here to turn my head and now I had to fight her
She looked dainty up here, up close
Her shorts tight against her thighs, her hair pulled back into a ponytail, begging to be pulled
