Saturday, 12 p.m
Kira just woke up and felt something pecking her back.
She got up and saw that Night Star had lost her small metal pendant that is on her collar. Nacht-Star was allowed to stay with Kira for the time being because she wasn't chipped and doesn't have a known owner. Kira's mother therefore immediately bought a token in case Nacht-Star disappeared.
But right now he's just sitting on the small beanbag in Kira's room. Kira took a pair of pliers and carefully attached the tag back to the collar. Kira went downstairs and had breakfast. Her mother ate with her but her father was on call. Later that afternoon, she grabbed her skateboard and headed to the skate spot near her.
A lot of children and young people meet there after school or on weekends. Night Star was able to come along.
Kira hit the half pipe first and busted out her moves. Then she looked over at the park. Thousands of people were there. It was very loud and everyone was shouting at each other. For a brief time she had warning thoughts that she had seen Night Star in the park.
But the image was able to move and was in front of her eyes for a full 2 minutes. She ran to the performance. That's impossible, how would Night Star walk from home to here? But when she stood in front of the bushes and saw Night Star, she knew it wasn't an introduction. She wanted to lift the cat out of the bush when he scratched her for no reason.
Kira was angry and shouted: "Why are you scratching me?" into the bush. Everyone who was nearby looked at her strangely. The second time, Kira wasn't scratched by Night Star. Finally she held her cat in her arms and skated home with him.
As they walked through the door, their mother asked them: "Kira, darling, did you take Nacht-Star with you?" "No, Night Star suddenly appeared in the park next to the skate park!"
At that moment Night Star came to his food bowl in the kitchen. Kira looked at the cat in her arms and screamed in panic. Suddenly an older gentleman knocked on the front door.
Kira's mother opened the door and asked, "How can I help you?" "Your annoying daughter kidnapped my cat Marina! I want her back immediately!” Kira smiled at her mother and blushed. Kira gave the man his cat back and he took off.
What a day. Luckily, Nacht-Star is fine, yes!
