Kavya turned on her bed, sometimes facing the window and sometimes the huge door. Though nothing was entirely visible to her because of the darkness of the night.

She heard the grumbling of her stomach again which made her rise up and forget her blissful sleep. For God knows what reason, Kavya was hungry in the middle of the night and she didn't know the way to the kitchen. The whole palace was a labyrinth.

Rubbing her eyes Kavya got down the huge bed and put a white scarf around her to protect herself from the coldness of the night.

Kavya kept rubbing her eyes as she walked towards the door to head out and look for the kitchen. There was a high possibility that she would get lost but that didn't bother her. Food was above everything.

She pushed the huge door open with her comparatively smaller hands and headed outside in search of food.

Kavya walked through the corridor wanting to reach the kitchen desperately. Hoping that there would be something to satisfy her hunger. She didn't know the exact time but she did see the moon shining as brightly as a diamond. The silver rays showering bee face with a glow no one could ever compare to.

Walking ahead she saw a man walking around. But due to the dimness of the night, she couldn't clearly understand who it was. She hoped that the person could help her fine the kitchen so she walked towards him. But what surprised her was to see the man also walking towards her. A part of her wanted it to be Karn and with that hope she moved forward.

She reached him as she saw the moonlight illuminate his copper eyes and she immediately understood who he was. Arjun. "Ugh", Kavya voiced out involuntarily. She wanted it to be the Surya Putr so bad but she was stuck with the Indra Putr.

Arjun scoffed being puzzled as to how someone can be so irritated, always. "I literally walked towards you because I felt like you didn't know the way around the castle. And look at you, scoffing at the sight of me" an irritated Arjun said. All he wanted to do was help her and here she was, flaunting her attitude.

"Excuse me, I don't need your help." Kavya said, not wanting to accept the fact that she desperately needed his help.

With the moonlight illuminating his copper eyes Kavya could see them go up and down in annoyance.

"Go away"

"Please shut up Kavya"

Kavya was now enraged. She never liked it when someone said shut up to her and it angered her to no extent when she heard this five thousand years old man to say shut up to her.

"Don't you dare! Nobody tells me to shut up. If you have a problem go away like I told you to. And rem-" Shouted Kavya.

Her booming voice was blocked when she felt the warm hands of Arjun wrap themselves around her mouth. She tried to scream but failed miserably and finally had to stop her loud voice.

"It's literally past midnight!" Whisper screamed Arjun. "Stop howling like a dog", he said slowly removing his hand from her mouth.
"Did you just call me a dog!?" Kavya screamed again as she again felt the warm hands of Arjun wrap around her mouth, more tightly than ever, and pulling her closer to him.

Kavya felt the warm body of the warrior touch her and his warm hands gripping her mouth. Her heartbeat increased a tiny bit which she avoided with all her strength. Kavya felt the warm breath of Arjun's fanning her face as she felt him lean in and say, "stop shouting".

Kavya stopped trying to shout as she felt the warmth shift away from her.

"Don't scream, I will go" Arjun said and walked away, while Kavya saw him walking away out her sight. She should have been happy about it but she wasn't, the coldness and the emptiness of the night was catching upto her and engulfing her into a pit of loneliness.
