In high school, I felt like I was one of the cool kids. I had tons of friends and I would walk the halls saying hi to many people. I felt like a movie star and I was in a movie and I was the main character. I was the center of my own universe. I was smart and beautiful. I didn't date because I was always so busy with other activities like being in band, and vice president of student council. I thought I was going to be one of those girls that had so many friends for the rest of their life.
I had five main friends in high school; Katy, Courtney, Amber. Isabella, and Gabby.
Although we were all involved in separate things, they all remained to be my closest friends during high school. They may not have all necessarily been friends with each other, but they were mine. We had wonderful friendships and I was lucky to have some amazing friends. I could just tell that no matter where life took us that I would have my five best friends forever.
I loved my high school life. It felt easy and simple. And now I just wish I could go back and tell my best friends that they were the most amazing friends and that I valued their friendship.
