On the first day of my freshman year in college, our final roommate arrived in the evening. Her luggage occupied half of the dorm room, and several people followed her to help organize it.

She greeted us with grace, saying, "I'm Emily Johnson."

Roommates Naci and Grace exchanged surprised glances.

"Emily Johnson? You're not the daughter of the biggest real estate magnate in our city, are you?"
