This story is about the second battle in the Fortress of Louisburg but with a couple of twists added!
It takes place between the time period of May 7 - June 26, 1758 during the second battle of Siege de Louisburg in the Fortress of Louisburg.
For context:
During the Seven Years' War (also called French-Indian war) happened on the coast St. Lawrence River beside the Atlantic Ocean.
The French used this Fortress for a port from their home country and the British government realized that they needed to defeat the French residing there.
After the first attack from the British, they retreated but it cost too many resources from the French so they hadn't have time to reinforce their fort until the second attack came 4 years later.
Twists Added
1. The roles of the French and the British are reversed
2. The reason for the victory is another one than the original military plan.
