"No huh? Do you even recall how you got here?" Karl asks the brunette in curiosity, her dark brown eyes were averted down towards the floor, she looked a bit out of it or maybe she was thinking
"No. How was I even found?"

He blinks and he stiffens a bit, he takes his cigar out of his mouth
"You mean to tell me... You don't remember anything?" Was it just her or did he actually sound concerned? But why? They're constantly at each other's throats... Quite literally so it doesn't make any sense
Genesis shakes her head, her brown waves swaying to the movements of her head
"Nope. Not a damn thing." She lies, but smoothly as hell. Karl had no suspicions that she was lying at all. Somebody give her an Oscar, she deserves that shit

"Damn." He curses loudly, "how hard did you get knocked in the head?"
That actually made her laugh and Karl couldn't help but smirk a bit. His green eyes basically trained on her form
He had to admit
She's reeaalll easy on the eyes

Best way to describe her- is dark ethereal type of beauty. And was that one of his types? Hell yes it was, her fury, determined, and stubborn personality added to her attractiveness
"Pretty hard I'm assuming." She snorts and he chuckles

"I found you in the town square, you were covered in snow and almost frozen. I had to warm you up before I called Mother Miranda and brought you to the church. I'm shocked you were even still alive." He admits to her, Genesis' eyes widen in shock

"Shit!" He laughs at her reaction, the reaction completely justified and understandable- this woman is growing on him and rather quickly, he wasn't sure how to think about it. But there's just something about her other than her looks and personality that drew him right in, like a moth to flame

"What's the last thing you remember, Liebling? You've gotta remember something. Unless you have almost complete amnesia." Karl snorts, taking a drag of his cigar before blowing the smoke up into the air above his face. He leans back against his seat before kicking his legs up unto his desk and gets comfy
Genesis sighs

"There was a really bad storm, I was watching TV and well I'm pretty sure I got struck by lightning..." She trails off, he stiffens and his eyes widen. He quickly rips off his shades and tosses them unto his desk

"What!?" He yells out, unable to hold back his shock looking at her like "you aren't fucking shitting me right now are you?" His mouth was hanging open a little and that look on his face was priceless to her

Genesis smirks before she starts laughing
"No I'm fucking pulling your leg, no of course I'm fucking serious or I wouldn't have said it!" She grunts out, sounding annoyed. He couldn't get over his stupor, he couldn't understand how a severe storm could bring her here- to the village

"Why are you so calm? Even I'm freaking out over that." He sends her a deep scowl and Genesis sighs she looks down and shakes her head
"Look- I may look calm on the outside but I assure on the inside I'm in fucking hysterics." She looks up sending him a scowl back and he sighs
Karl looks down, he closes his eyes before pinching the bridge of his nose with his gloved hand

"You really are something special aren't you, Genesis Ivory?" He mumbles to her, a groan leaving his lips and Genesis grins
"Are you sure you want to turn me into one of your experiments or kill me now?" She taunts and a scowl crosses his face he opens his green eyes taking his hand away from the bridge of his nose before pointing a gloved finger towards her
