Chapter 1:
Ashleys Pov:
I didnt Know where i was headed, I didnt know what direction I was going. All I knew was that i needed to get as far away from home as i could, and soon.. like now! I packed my bag. I put 2 pairs of pants, a pair of shorts and a couple of t-shirts, my make up, tooth-brush and tooth paste, hair stuff and my brush, a couple of pairs of underwear, and 2 bras. I heard snoring from down stairs soI know that my stepdad had been sleeping so i ran out the door, through the front door, and across the street, Down the highway... and then got lost. I looked around for hors trying to find somewhere to go for the night, i wasnt so worried about food.
*3 hours later*
I was out of breath and i was sweaty.. I felt so dirty! I needed a shower. I looked into a feild and saw some light through the dark sky. I grabed my bag and ran and ran some more. It was about an 30 minutes late and i was finally there. I slowed down when i got to the door of the place i was standing in front of and i whipped my sweat off my pink flushed cheeks. I creaked open the door and looked around to find someone.. anyone. I sa a little old lady sitting behind a cowner passesd out. There was flys all over and th place had really stunk. I sloly walked up to the lady.. and poked her shoulder.
Ashley: U-umm ma;am? i said as i cleared my voice.
Little old lady: Oh yes sweetheart..? Would you like a room?. she said frightenly.
Ashley: Oh yes I would love one... But I dont have any money.
Little old lady: Oh honey its on the house you neeed to get cleaned up. Where are you from?
Ashley: Im from Downy, California ma;am.
Little Old Lady: Oh dear your so far away from home. What are you doing here? She asked woried.
Ashley: Im- um GOing home actually i was at a fiends and bad things happened. I said making up a story.
Little Old Lady: Oh well heres your room key. Just go down the hall 10 rooms down. She said in a shaky voice.
Ashley: Thank You ma;am. I said as I walked out of the door.
I unlocked the room door... It was nasty! There was a horrid smell and i had to clean it up! So i did...
*2 hours later*
