The Duality of IT

Basically this story gave me the opportunity to flesh out Mirasal's backstory. She is the main character, along with quite a few other original characters. Maturin ITs nemesis, appears and has a role as well(I also portray their relationship as brothers, as I see them being created by the same being(Gan)as them being related in a way. Same with other creatures of Stephen King's universe.

Mirasal is on the Autism spectrum(as am I) and she is also physically disabled with a prosthetic left arm.

This story takes place some years after ITs defeat at the hands of the Losers, around a few decades as I believe he would have taken twice as long to heal from his form being destroyed. This follows the novel version more so than the films., as King has implied IT is very much alive in subsequent novels. The Deadlights are immortal and cannot be killed by human strength.

As for the other elements of this story (IE humans immigrating to Tarros, this follows a trope well established in scifi-human immigration to alien worlds. All of it is from my mind, with references to various horror films and other King media. But the world of Tarros and its inhabitants are exclusively me. Really only Pennywise/Robert Gray and Maturin/Harold are the only canon characters with an appearance by Gan.

The romance aspect of this story involves Bob Gray and not really Pennywise, who she interacts with only once. So keep that in mind.

Also keep in mind: This story is not for everyone, rather it be the OC aspect or the fact that it is a relationship involving  IT/Pennywise. I get the latter, as it may see strange, but truth is Bill Skarsgard's IT really opened the door to these possibilities with the character, emotions were experienced by IT in both films, IT could potential feel more. As for the former, it's a matter of personal choice, however, I do not write x reader fics, and do not intend to start.

Fair warning: this story has violence and some gore, as well as ableist language and implied suicide and domestic violence.

I welcome reviews. constructive ones, not rude comments. So bear that in mind.

All the art, including the cover, is mine. Do not take it and edit it.

In fact I'm still illustrating scenes from it five years after completion. Chapters will be uploaded over the next few days.

The story title comes from Reverie by Lacuna Coil. Lyric-wise it fits. That whole album In A Reverie can be a OST for this story.

Hallway Horror

ITs final form design in this story is more eldritch and not the spiderwise form depicted in the second IT movie.
