IMPERIUM REALM

-Training Camp-
The land of the Imperium Realm had only a few buildings and houses, so it was an ideal place for training, especially those that conjure long-range magic. A land of valleys and high mountains with fresh water that the young warriors of the realm could not see for they only had lust for blood and war within knowing the actual cause of their wishes.

The ground had sweat and tears of the young warriors in their training as they carry a giant boulder on their backs, helplessly groaning in pain. Yet, they felt motivated into slaying a Dark Magi, believing that they will get stronger as they fought more opponents.

Lee was miles away from the training grounds, but he had heard screams of bewilderment using his sonic hearing. From the clamoring sounds of the bowls being dropped and the short gasping voices of the ladies.

'Young Imperium Scholar?' He took a short pause from walking while recalling where he had heard that before. Perhaps he heard that from his mother but he's not that certain. Lee's not someone to jump into conclusions anyway.

"THE YOUNG IMPERIUM SCHOLAR?" was the loud, shocking news that circled the camp just a minute after the said Young Imperium Scholar introduced herself. In the long-running history of scholars before they were called Imperium Scholars, she's the youngest of them all. Too young for a Guardian's lifespan yet incredibly old for normal folks.

"I must say that I am surprised with this revelation," Leonard took a sip of his soup by only lifting the bowl, ignoring the dining etiquette. Well, there was no spoon or fork available around. All of them must learn survival skills, and out in the wild, any utensil was not even an option.

Kaira placed her hand on the Young Imperium Scholar's head to give her a soft pat. "You really know how to surprise people."

Grin.

An underlying meaning was there in Kaira's state with a faint grin to indirectly state her motive, and the Young Imperium Scholar instantly got that. Although she was nervous, Kaira whispered that their little secret was safe. "I apologize, but I haven't found anything yet."

"That's fine. I'm the one who's at fault," the Young Imperium Scholar whispered back, which made the rest of them feel suspicious. The Young Princesses at the same table setting, unconsciously raised their brows to the thought that the Imperium Scholar had a friend aside them.

Nod.

"Lady Kaira, are you really this close to her?" the Young Princess of Assher curiously raised her question, to which Kaira simultaneously nodded with the Young Imperium Scholar.

After Leonard finished his bowl, he spoke with a serious tone, "So, why are you here?"

Kaira was somehow confused at his sudden manner as shivers went through her spines that she hid her face by looking away. The other's barely got a glimpse of Leonard's pricked expression, gulping a throat. But this Young Imperium Scholar equally stared at Leonard with a serious face as well. "Very well, Your Highness of the Tahomma Kingdom," she put the cup of water she was sipping, calmly responding to the Young Prince's question. "I was sent by the Princess Consort Dahrleen, your mother."

'Mother did? Why?' as much as he wanted to ask again, it was cut off by a loud commotion outside their training ground premises. A disturbing roars and grumbles of unnamed beasts were hording near as the the ground shook as the trainees ran towards the entrance, knowing that this could be their chance to prove their worth as young warriors.

They unsheathed their swords and charged their bows as they awaited momentum before attacking the Dark Magi, who appeared with a gigantic body of an ape, two heads of a venomous snake, and a fierce-looking hyena, added to by the tail of an alligator. What a hideous sight indeed. Paired with the companions of smaller animal beasts, the warriors could not be thrilled for more.
