Edit: I edited some part and added the intro

Preston "phocoena" Parker is a 19 year old mma fighter whose rise caught the attention of the SFC (Superfighters Fighting Championship) president, Gary Malcolm, because it is so rare to see someone so good and so talented at such age. Confident, maybe too confident at the talent that the youngster possesses, Gary threw him into the wolves, and book his first fight against an under-25 kickboxing champion, Jack Hunter Bruno.

Preston POV

It is my first day entering the octagon for my SFC debut. My nerve is tense as people are staring at me, curious on how i fare inside the closed cage. I tried to hide my nervousness, showing some enthusiasm, albeit fake, because inside i was so scared and anxious. This is my SFC debut, and i am here, thrusted into a main card. I don't know what the SFC president, Gary Malcolm, saw in me, but this is a lot. I entered the cage, waiting for my first opponent, the undefeated kickboxing champion, Jack Hunter Bruno. Oh no, i think to myself. I am gonna get slaughtered!!!! Is the SFC boss feeding me to the wolves? As my opponent walks into the ring with a fierce look in his eyes, I just closed my eyes, praying to the whale God, yeah, whale God, to bless me in this fight, whatever happens. Once the ring announcer finished introducing the fighters, I walked to my opponent, who, if looks could kill, this fight wouldn't even be happening. I closed my eyes again, trying to muster every courage i have to win this match, and as the bell rings, i put myself in the zone, and suddenly, everything is calm, like there was just me and my opponent in the arena.

HERE WE GO

The fight starts, my opponent, 25 years old, using his youth and kickboxing expertise to try to chop at my legs. I used my quickness to try to slip and avoid every attack he could throw. The fight was a chess match at the beginning, until i found a sweet spot to throw a shocking head kick, and down he goes......

Of course he survived the headkick, he was a kickboxing champion for a reason!!!! I tried to use my ground game to further advance and gain more advantage in the match, which i did. My heart racing, grew more tense as adrenaline races at probably 200 mph at the moment. Am i about to defeat the former kickboxing champion with a decent mma record of 8 wins and only 1 loss in less than 3 minutes??? Well, how wrong i was. He got up, starts pressuring me, and by the time the round was about to end, landed a crisp left hook that made the world around me spinning, and follow up with the devastating knee to the temple. Thats it, fights over, so i thought.

Somehow, i gather enough strength to survive the barrage. And then the round ends. With opponent like this, i should've stayed living in the slow lane and go to college. Damn, was i stupid to do this and put myself in a harms way.

Anyway, the fight continues, Jack continues to press me. I tried my best to just keep avoiding his attacks while picking him apart from the distance. This goes back and forth until he lands another hook that caught my attention. Oh, how he is so strong. I told myself to focus, landing some leg kicks, trying to slow down his movement. After several exchanges, the round ends, and i'm probably down on both rounds and is losing the fight. At the stool, all of the sudden, some energy burst through my soul. Is this it? Has the whale God finally answered my prayers? All the struggles of making a name for myself and using my success to motivate anyone that had been ostracized, rejected, and undermined by society has finally come to this moment. Simply, i have gone too far to back out.

The third and final round begins, and with renewed motivation, i charged in, landing several shots that put Jack on notice. The chess game continues as he tried once again to pressure me. More shots from me landed, and i can sense that he started to get desperate. His shots get sloppier, and eventually i landed a leg kick that hurt him. For the first time in this fight, he is the one retreating. I chased him like a predator stalking his prey. Just when things are about to end well for me, he landed a huge uppercut that stopped all the momentum i have gained in the round. He was like a man possessed trying to finish me. But i remember the whale God's answer to my prayer that the path i took is for a reason, and its the reason that's going to change the world for the better. I got back up, continued my momentum, and on the closing moment of the round, landed a huge overhand that knocks him out. Thats it!!!! I won!!!!!
