Shen's amnesia (redemption?) Ori

the beginning of an end

Shen wakes up on a single bed, the room is small and looked cold. He is also confused, and scared at the same time. But he can't expressed it because on how much his thoughts were at the moment... But suddenly, a goat that has beard came in the room.

"w-who are you..?"

Shen looks at the bearded goat...

"So it's true that you have amnesia."

The goat caress her beard for a bit while Shen lays there while tilting his head.

"You can call me Soothsayer, and I'll be the one who's in charge of taking care of you at the moment."

Soothsayer comes closer to the bed and looks at him with a calm smile.

"Can you at least mind explaining what happened?"

Shen looked at her for a while and the soothsayer finally opens her mouth

"You do not have to worry about your past, Shen. Focus to the future now, it's better that way."

Shen raised an eyebrow but nodded, confused and concerned... But he just went along with it

"You might even want to look at the mirror, Shen"

The Soothsayer grabs a mirror to show Shen his face, his eyes has a huge scars, making him blind at the left side of his eye and he even realize his beautiful tail is gone. But Shen isn't shock by it, he doesn't make any expression at all.

"What a surprise, Shen. You don't even care now that your beauty is gone, for awhile."

The goat laughs, teasing him a bit but Shen just looks at her.

"Uhm... Alright then, is there anything you could do to help me recover?"

Shen keeps raising an eyebrow at her making the situation a bit awkward by the fact that Shen had become a very straightforward peacock...

"Of course there is, that's the point I'm here."

Soothsayer then helps Shen with his eyes and numbs his pain.

"The reason why you're not feeling any pain currently is because I numbed your pain system for a while. So don't be confused, Shen"

The peacock nods and just went along with his recovery.
