Taking a step into Fontaine, you had to help another region with its crisis. It wasn't a problem for you, since that's what you loved doing - helping people in need. Didn't matter if you knew them or not.
As Paimon guided you through the city's passageway, you were met with a boy who looks like a magician. Once he introduced himself as 'Lyney the Great Magician' , he introduced you to his sister, Lynette - his great assistant.
Lyney was a sweet boy and Lynette too, although she was quiet most of the time, you didn't really mind it. Paimon was excited when she received a flower from Lyney and you were surprised when you received one as well.
"Here you go, a pretty flower for a captivating person such as yourself!" - Lyney said with a big smile, and Lynette crossed her arms, shaking her head at Lyney's flirty personality.
They both decided to lead you into Fontaine and they lead you to their home.
"This is our home! Our brother Freminet isn't so keen on socializing with others, but please pay it no mind." - Lyney said with a worried smile, expecting you to understand it in a negative way, but you shook your head with a smile.
"Please, don't worry. I know how it feels to be that way. I don't mind that at all." - You honestly answered and Lyney's eyes sparked with joy once he heard it. "That's amazing! Then I am sure that you and Freminet would be close friends!" - Lyney happily spoke as he got inside to bring Freminet out.
A few minutes pass and you see the boy walk out, his head dipped down and eyes not daring to look up. You could see that he had a lot of things in his head. You've been that way before and you know how to handle such matters. You decided to not speak for a while, until he got comfortable. Lyney and Lynette had to go somewhere, leaving Freminet in your capable hands.
He slowly gazed up and saw you, gulping down his fear before opening his mouth. "..Hello." - He whispered to you and you replied back with another hello. You didn't want to rush with questions because you knew he needed some time to trust you in order to be friends. It was hard for you to make friends as well. They would call you names and you were an orphan as well.
Lyney had told you that they were 3 siblings and they were all orphans, later adopted by The Knave - their "father". You didn't know why Lyney was so open, but Lynette seems to believe that you are trustworthy.
