Connor looked at me as he didn't know what to say "Wait.. that's mine?" He asked as I nodded softy "Yes.. don't worry you don't need to pay child support.. you've made it clear" I said as Lucas coos again as I walked away he grabs me as I flinched "Can I help you?" I asked him "I want custody!" He yelled at me as Joseph overheard it as I felt tears roll my eyes "Problem?" Joseph asked as he took Lucas in his arms "No" Connor backs away as we took off and went into the locker room as my heart was pounding "Connor wants custody" I said as William got mad "Are you for fucking real?" He asked as me as I nodded "Yeah, I'm so scared" I said as Joseph looks at me as I tugged my sleeves "I can't do this" I said as I felt my heart sunk into my ass "Relax" Joseph grabs my face gently as William held Lucas. My manger booked me to do a meet and greet and an acoustic performance at one of the record stores, it was my first ever meet and greet that was popular and I was shocked and nervous and just loved meeting my fans hearing how my music has helped them.

I went into the crowd as I held Lucas as we watched the game, I watched William and Connor get into a huge fight as they started to beat the shit out of each other the fans went crazy for the fight. "Oh my god" I whisper as William laid Connor out cold as the ref got involved as William got sent to the penalty box I went on my phone and scrolled through social media as I posted about the meet and greet information to my social media, I was nervous that Connor would try something when I did my meet and greet I wanted to back out but I didn't. After the game we went out for dinner then headed back to the condo I went to bed early I wasn't feeling good my anxiety was high.
—next morning—
I woke up a few hours before I had to leave, I did my makeup as I pulled my hair into a high ponytail and began applying my makeup, I picked out a cute little neon green outfit I bought a while ago as I got dressed

I went to Lucas's room and picked him up, I changed his diaper and jammies as I feed him "Do you wanna come? I asked Joseph "No, I'll stay behind , but I'll meet you there after?" He was up to something I didn't know what it was "Of course" I finished getting ready as I kissed his lips then went to the record store as I had 45 minutes before my meet and greet, I talked to the event staff as they were so sweet, Joseph went to the mall as he bought an engagement ring, he planned on asking me to marry him, he was gonna pretend to be a fan and propose.

They began letting fans in as I waved at them "Hey!" I smiled as I began meeting fans, and taking photos with them as I had so much meeting them and hearing their stories Joseph showed up wearing an different outfit as he acted like a fan. "Hey! It's nice to meet you" I said as I hugged him and fixed my hair "Hey.." he got down on one knee and took off his hat as he looks at me "Kayla.. your such a strong, beautiful woman. And so badass. Will you marry me?" He asked me as I started to cry "I would love to marry you.." I said as he slid the ring on my finger. The fans screamed in aw as I grabbed a stool and my guitar "Okay, who wants to hear two songs?" I asked as I tried to be professional as I started playing myself as I started singing as the crowd sang along with me as I blushed looking at Joseph who was recording me, I finished playing that song as I played crumbs and had everyone singing along.
Once I finished as I smiled "Okay next week I have a new song. I can't give out too much info but I'll post more tomorrow. I think you guys will love it and yeah. Thank you so much for coming out!" I got up as I used some hand sanitizer and Joseph and I left, we took a photo of my engagement ring and I posted it to my social media as Joseph uploads the video. All of a sudden Joseph got jumped from behind they kept beating him up as they kicked the shit out of him I screamed as I cried trying to break it up but I got thrown down as well as they tried to hurt me. I looked at them as I saw it was Connor and his team Patrick Kane kicked the shit out of Joseph as Connor grabbed me by the hair as he forced me to look at him "I'm getting child back" he threw my down as the cops showed up and Connor and his team took off as me and Joseph were rushed to the hospital as i groaned as tears filled my eyes as I called William sobbing. Luckily Joseph only suffered a slight injury I had broken ribs as I groaned as William showed up I told him what happened as I cried like crazy as I hugged William tightly "I can't do this anymore" I looked at him as William sighs "File a restraining order.." he said to me as I looked down "I can't, William he will try to take Lucas!" I cried even harder as we went home I was writing some new music as I needed to escape my brain.
Danny FaceTimed me "Hey what's up?" I asked as I was laying down with Lucas on my chest "Hey are you okay? I heard what happened? Do you feel like playing an show at the Roxy? They want you to play tonight" he asked me "How long is the set?" I asked "2 hours. You'll be paid 3k, you game?" He asked me "I'll see if I can find a babysitter and see if Joseph wants to come. I'm too scared to go alone" I said as I texted Joseph and he was game and Morgan wanted to babysit. I got off the phone as I put my hair extensions in and did my makeup and got into some comfy clothes and packed a stage outfit and my equipment

"Babe I got you something" Joseph held a package as he gave it to me, he bought me a brand new sparkly mic and brand new purple ear monitors as our one year anniversary gift "Babe.." I hugged him tightly "you didn't need too" I finished getting ready as I kissed him deeply as we made out for a sec and I got up as we headed to the club, when we arrived Josephine and Nette hugged me tightly as they brought me some drinks as we drank a bit as I had an hour before I had to perform, I got changed as I held my jacket in my arms

I clipped my mic pack to the back of my jeans and put my earbuds in as I put my jacket on as I put my mic in my pocket as I took a few shots with Josephine as it was show time, nette smiles as she walked me to the stage as she went out "I'd like to introduce our best friend Kayla!" I walked on stage as I smiled waving to the crowd as I put my mic in the mic stand as she left the stage I took it all in it was a huge show as I set up my phone to live stream it "Hey my babes. Thank you for having me. My name is Kayla. And this song is called Oxygen sing along if you know the lyrics" the music played as I danced around as I started to sing as the crowd started singing along as I smiled looking as I took out one of my earbuds as I danced around on stage I took it all in as I looked at the band "Okay. My sexy pandas. This song is super special. It's called myself. And I wrote it about my ex boyfriend and it's really emotional" I said as I sat down at the piano and played the intro as I started to sing as I pulled out my ear monitors out of my ears as I got emotional as couldn't stop crying during it as I kept singing

Joseph looked at me as I looked down as I got up as I grabbed my mic as I sit on the edge of the stage as I looked into the crowd as I held my hand out as the crowd held onto my hands as I sang to them as I smiled as they made me feel emotional as I slowly got up as I brushed my pants off as I put my mic in the stand as I hit the high notes as I got the crowd up and jumping as I danced around as the smiled as I finished that song as I played My way as I sang the intro as I took off my jacket as I put it down on the ground as I kept singing. I finished my set as I was exhausted. We headed back home and I fell asleep in my makeup as I laid my head on Joseph as I was exhausted
