Crescent trying to confront Friday about his sexuality. FLUFF - don't take it too seriously, it was a just a thing I wrote.
☆ starlight, starbright first 🌟 I see tonight ✨☆
"Hello Friday." Crescent greeted.
"Hello! How are you?" Friday said.
"Doing quite lovely darling. And yourself?" Crescent replied.
"Fine fine. Did you know the funniest thing happened to me today? Iris went to me and asked the strangest question. "Are you happy with your girlfriend?" Of course I answered that I was. She then asked me if I was gay because she said that you said that I had flirted with you some weeks back! Imagine that! I had no idea what I had said constituted as flirting. I was confused." Friday said amusingly.
"Friday, I have to confront you with something."
"Yes Crescent?" Friday looked puzzled. Why was Crescent so hesitate to say anything? Friday added, "You can always tell me anything."
"Were you flirting with me?" Crescent said, his eyes serious.
"It was in all harmless fun and truth be told I thought you were a girl. You wear a lot of makeup." Friday protested.
"You continued flirting with me after you found out I was a guy." Crescent whispered, emphasizing that last word into Friday's ear.
"Yeah..." Friday said reluctantly. "I have some errands to attend to."
Friday was trying to excuse himself in order to evacuate the premises. Crescent blocked his path. "I won't let you leave."
"Please let me go." Friday pleaded.
"No." Crescent said. This went on for several minutes before Crescent pinned Friday to a wall. Crescent's voice got softer. "Oh my God Friday I'm so sorry I didn't mean to get so aggressive."
"It's alright." Friday said quietly. Then he started sobbing. Crescent cradled Friday in his paws as he started to comfort Friday and quietly reassure him.
"It's just so difficult people assuming my sexuality. I really do love my girlfriend. I adore Sheri. I also really love you. I adore you. Why can't I have it both ways?" Friday asked.
"You can." Crescent said soothingly.
"I don't think you realize just how much I love you. Will you stand by me no matter what?" Friday asked.
"Of course darling." Crescent said reassuringly.
With a quick, fleeting moment Friday went in to kiss Crescent. This impulsive caress took Crescent by surprise. "That's how much I love you. It's so much easier to be straight. Everyone assumes from the moment you're born you'll be attracted to the oppposite sex automatically without a second thought for girls who crush on girls and boys that crush on boys and girls that crush on girls and boys and boys that crush on girls and boys. The only reason I could tell you is because you understand what I'm going though. What makes it all the more confusing is I genuinely love Sheri, but than I also have a fondness for you, but I don't think I'll ever be able to tell anyone else." By the end of his speech, Friday was a bit lightheaded not from the excessive talking for he did that a lot, but for the courage it took him to utter those words.
"Well, sometimes actions are better than words. You will someday darling. You can't keep your feelings bottled up inside forever. Eventually you'll find the words to make your statement known and you'll be proud of yourself and of who you are." Crescent said encouragingly.
"I feel like this weight has been taken off my chest. I know it's silly, although I told only you, I feel so much better already." Friday said nestling closer to Crescent's chest.
"I'm glad." Crescent said and gave him a small peck on the forehead. Crescent was glad that Friday had finally confided in him, but there was still one small problem. Crescent had feelings for Friday, Friday was in love with his girlfriend, but he also felt deeply about Crescent. What was he to do?
