The bite-club sat in the living room of may's house, waiting for peni to finish working on the override goober key

Y/n eyes gravitated to a standing cindy, who stood far away from him near may's stairs *i don't understand, i feel practically nothing now, but it's lingering* y/n furrowed his eyebrows

Cindy suddenly looked towards y/n before smiling once they made eye contact

Y/n continued to stare *and why does it seem like im the only one conflicted about it*

*oh god, he's staring at me pretty hard right now* cindy slowly waved towards y/n  *calm down cin, you dont know what came over you, so it cant be your fault that potentially you just ruined a brewing friendship* she internally laughed awkwardly at her situation

*i mean sure she's nice to look at, but why was i so willing to swap spit with some girl i barely know*
y/n slowly waved back *no biggie, she doesn't seem worried, so why should i* y/n looked away finally stopping the awkward stare down

"This is purple" noir said while laying down on the couch with a rubric cube in his hands

"No" spider-ham said

"Blue?" Noir questioned

"No" spider-ham shut it down again

Peni came strolling through the doorway into the living room happily showing her finished product which peter grabbed from her before connecting it to a small line of web, and wrapping it around his neck like a necklace

"Has anyone heard from miles?" Gwen questioned

"Look, he's just clearing his head, i know the kid" peter said "he's got what it takes" he finished but only got looks of doubt from the group "i bet you he's gonna come back through that door, recharged and ready to fight"

As peter said this miles barged in the house panicked "my uncle" he said while tearing up

"Hey, where have you bee-"

Miles cut off peter "my uncle aaron, he's the prowler" he said hysterically while peter tried to calm him down "he works for kingpin, he tried to kill me"

"This is a pretty hardcore origin story" noir joked but he definitely meant it which caused the people in the room to give him stare

"Its okay, we're gonna figure it out" peter tried to calm miles down

Suddenly gwen walked up to the two "were you followed?" She questioned miles

"No, i dont think so" miles said before everybody's spider sense went off all leading to them masking up excluding Cindy and putting up their guard as they turn to the front door

The doorbell rang off only for a tentacle to instantly shot through the door to hit peter but he deterred it causing it to just barley miss may who was walking in from the kitchen

"Cute place" Doc ock walked into the house "Real homey" she joked

"Oh great, its liv" may sounded sarcastic as she took a small step back

"I guess i was followed" miles took back what he said earlier which gained a sigh from gwen

"Get out of here dude" y/n told miles which the boy took no time trying to leave through the back door but came to a stop as tombstone stood in his way
