So the plot starts from the 2 years leap after Pihu's death.
Preeta enters the Luthra House after 2 years. She conquered their properties. And is trying to expose Prithvi and Sherlyn.
Preeta:- Shristi meri baat suno! Hame kal hi uss Natasha ko expose karna hein. Yeh sab jo bhi kar raha hein..usse aaj hi pakadenge..
Shristi:- Haan di! Hame Karan jiju ko kisi bhi tarah jail se bahar nikalna hoga.
Preeta:- Haan iske peeche zaroor uss Prithvi ka haath hoga!
Shristi:- Abb ismein koi doubt karne ki kya baat hein?
They both continued with the discussion for a few minutes more and then left the room.
Sameer and Shristi were following Natasha and Preeta was trying to follow Prithvi.
The next day
Day of Hearing.
Karan is brought to the court. Natasha brings the proof that she had stolen from Preeta and she exposes Karan's truth.
After reaching home, Preeta and Shristi walked inside but Karan stops them.
Karan:- Kya kar rahi ho tum?
Preeta:- Yeh mera ghar hein. Mein ghar ke andar jaa rahi hu
Karan:- Ese kese jaogi tum andar? Saj agar Natasha nahi hoti toh mera kya haal ho jata?!
Preeta: Tumhari toh isse bhi buri haal honi chahiye Mr.Luthra!
Karan raises his hands to slap her but Shristi held it.
Shristi:- Karan jiju! Aap mere di par haath nahi utha sakte!
Natasha:- Tumhari di ne kiya kya hein iss parivaar keliye?
Shristi was about to say something but Preeta stopped her.
Krithika:- Dekho! Unki toh bolti band ho gayi!
Karan:- Preeta Arora! Tum na ek best beti ho! Na best behan aur nahi ek achi patni ya achi bahu ho! Tum kisi cheez ki laayak nahi ho!
Preeta:- Shut up Mr. Luthra! Meine tumhare liye aur tumhare iss parivaar ke liye joh bhi kiya hena, woh sab toh ek apna bhi nahi karta aapke saath!
Karan:- Kabhi ek bacha diya hein iss parivaar ko?
Preeta looked at him. Her eyes filled with rage.
Preeta:- Kya bola tumne?
Karan:- Sherlyn ke bache ke marne ke baad tu hi toh chahti thi ki ek bacha paida ho jaye. Ki tu iss ghar ko ek heir dena chahti hein. Lekin phir kya ho gaya. Tum kabhi ek Maa nahi bann sakti. Ham sabko itna hope diya tumne and then..aur uske saath saath tumne meri Pihu ko bhi maar diya! Pihu ne kya kiya tha tumhare saath?!
Karan shouted at Preeta.
Kareena:- Bilkul sahi keh raha hein woh. Preeta tum kabhi ek bache ko janam nahi de sakti. Aur tum ek murderer ho!
Krithika:- Aapko pata hein? I used to respect you lekin abb apse meri respect gayi paani mein!
Sherlyn, Prithvi and Natasha were laughing in a corner while Preeta was silently crying. Sameer was not at home. Shristi was trying to console Preeta and Rakhi was silent as always.
Preeta ran away to her room and closed the door.
Shristi:- Di! Darwaza kholiye di!
Preeta:- Chali jao Shristi!
Just then Kareena came there and held Shristi's hand tightly.
And said
Kareena:- Preeta Arora! Tum wahi bandh raho! Tumhare liye wahi acha hein!
Kareena dragged Shristi out of the house and closed the door!

Sameer came back and Rakhi told him everything. He decided to check on Preeta but Krithika tricked him and locked him in his room.
Sherlyn, Prithvi and Natasha were celebrating their first win against Preeta.
Sherlyn:- Abb bahut jaldi Karan Preeta ko iss ghar se aur uski zindagi se bhi bahar kar dega. Karan aur Natasha ki shaadi bhi hogi aur ham iss ghar mein raj karenge!
Natasha:- Yes babes!
The next morning
Karan went to Preeta's room and saw her lying down on the floor.
Karan:- Preeta utho!
But Preeta didn't get up! Karan was shocked and he tried calling her. Preeta didn't get up. Soon all the family members arrived and they all tried to wake her up. Finally, Sameer who was free from the room came and checked upon Preeta. He realized that She is no more!
Prithvi, Sherlyn and Natasha pretended to be concerned but were happy from inside.
The doctor came and Sameer called Shristi. The doctor confirmed Preeta's death.
Shristi couldn't accept it. Karan was sitting there with an expressionless face.
Shristi ran upto the Luthras and shouted at them.
Shristi:- Mara na mere di ko tum logo ne. Tum log kabhi bhi achi zindagi nahi jeeoge!
Sameer held Shristi back. The Luthras sat there guilty.
The post mortem report came and it was revealed that Preeta was 3 months pregnant.
This news shocked the Luthras. They questioned Preeta's character.
Karan:- Woh bacha! Woh mera bacha tha! Teen mahine pehle...hamare beech mein ek argument huwa. Mene usse uss din...He broke down. He didn't have words to say.
The Luthras hung their head down in shame and Sameer left the house with Shristi.
Shristi found proof against Prithvi, Sherlyn and Natasha and exposed them. The three of them along with Natasha's boyfriend Roxy are in Jail.
5 years later...
Shristi and Sameer broke all ties with the Luthras. They got married and left for the U.S.
Karan was broken but was brought back with councilings and therapies.
Karan then left cricket and became a business tycoon.
He adopted a daughter named Preesha(Pihu). Her name was put in the memory of both Preeta and Pihu.
He moved from the Luthra Mansion and got a house on his own.
He and Preesha lived there with Preeta's beautiful memories. ..
