So... after the first one you all have probably thought that I am taking these theories of mine VERY SERIOUSLY huh? You couldn't be more wrong about this. It will get worse with each chapter, I can guarantee you that. So now I would like to talk about how in my opinion...
Crunchy Chip Cookie is either a good example of a patriot or... Dark Cacao's Cookie psychofan, but most likely both.
Now, now, hear me out here.
From the wiki page about Crunchy Chip Cookie we know, that he is proud of being a Dark Cacao Warrior, and he does everything to act and make others think that he is a perfect example of the said warrior.

For the context - it was right after the monsters who attacked Creme Republic were defeated.
Well no shit he complimented you if you're doing an amazing job literally protecting the cookiekind. 💀
The way he reacted to Dark Cacao telling him "yeah you are a great warrior" makes me think that he might be in fact so obsessed with Dark Cacao's opinion that for Crunchy Chip this might be the matter of life and death - Kind of how psycho fans work.
That would be my theory on that
