How cool is modern art, you might ask?
Let me tell you right now, with some really creative facts.
Monet, as in Claude Monet, gave Impressionism a new way. Miró, as in Joan Miró, was our modern art hero and Mondrian, as in Piet Mondrian, had his De Stijl art movement going on.
O'Keeffe, as in Georgia O'Keeffe, gave surrealism a new leaf and Ono, as in Yoko Ono, made our once dark hearts glow.
Diego Rivera helped start more than one art era. Davis, as in Stuart Davis, knew his jazzy paintings made him famous and Dalí, as in Salvador Dalí, made surrealistic art for all of us to see.
Edward Hopper never told more than one whopper and Ernst, as in Max Ernst, put his creativity first.
Roy Lichtenstein shaped up pop art just fine and the vivid imagination of
Norman Bluhm always stopped us from feeling glum.
Andy Warhol also answered the pop art call and Andrew Wyeth made visual art destined to defy death.
Rachel Harrison is far from embarrassin' and even
Tanning, as in Dorothea Tanning, had a crafty mind that's always been planning.
Modern artists like these galore are all amazing among so much more.
I may not be an art teacher, but there's just so much that modern art has to feature.
