In a world of loneliness, how many people can truly survive, in a place where generations are run to the ground. In a world where everything is so tiresome, what can we as people do? Well, that world is ours. The same world we walk on, breathe, think, speak, and talk. It runs us to the ground like animals, and treats us like animals. War, greed, money, crime, violence, all of it is in this world and it runs us. Yes, of course there’s good, just like there are good people, but that doesn’t change the fact that there’s so much pain and sadness. Sometimes the happiness, the happy moments, just aren’t enough. In such a world, when is anything ever enough? When will all of that pain end? What is the fine line that is drawn across the sand, and is there even one? Or is this just it? Is this the world we try our best to thrive in, to work until we get home and fall over from mental and physical exhaustion? Is this all we are worth? There must be more to it than that, the amount of numbers from what people claim is natural selection, but is it really? We all work in some way, eat, sleep, and provide for our families or ourselves. Whether that’s going to school or having a real job, we all wake up tired and go to sleep tired. Mentally we are drained and in pain, physically we are fighting and surviving to the best of our abilities. What more can we do? As a society, as people, and as living beings that walk these same roads as everyone else. Why must we hate each other, no matter who we truly are? Why are we categorized by the color of our skin, or how we think and truly feel? Why must we discriminate for such silly matters when we are all born the same way, we all breathe the same air, and walk the same roads. Why must we look at others and want to knock them down instead of helping them? Or turn the other way when they are struggling and in need of help. Why do we turn our heads on the streets when someone is being kidnapped or abused, just because that isn’t us? It’s supposedly none of our business? When that person is crying out for help, praying or begging that someone will hear them. Are we any better than those bad people then? That kidnapped that person or did harm to that family, or god forbid raped that poor child or adult. We are all human. We are of the same species and yet we can’t speak out for one another, shame on us all if we don’t try. Everyone has a choice, and everyone has their own beliefs. But yet we try to force our views on each other? How is any of that fair? How is any of that right? Why do we let a higher court control whether we live or die, when they are just like us? We are all people. We speak, we learn, and we evolve. We do not control, we do not have such power to take down worlds and speak for everyone else. Why should it matter if I’m a girl or boy, shall I speak out or shut my mouth cause a young girl shouldn’t speak. As well as if I’m a boy, shall I not show my emotions? Right, I will keep quiet and look forward, even though someone has just died, even though you strike me down all you want. I won’t speak nor shed a single tear. Because that’s wrong isn’t it, to speak or show emotions? You must keep quiet and follow the rules, daddy said, mommy said, grandma and grandpa said. Don’t cry or I’ll give you something to cry about, how dare you say that. How dare anyone say that and not think of the consequences that may have on a child. If anyone thinks they aren’t the problem, news flash! Everyone is. Everyone that does bad things is, we are the problem. As a society, we create but we also destroy. How dare we take away each other’s lives like we mean nothing. How dare we bully and discriminate against each other when I bet the same people had the same things happen to them, so we repeat it? History is history, the past is the past, the present is the present, and the future is the future. We have no way of controlling it, but we can try our best to impact it well, to set it on a path of happiness, not pain. Us as people, in such a world as beautiful as this, have no right to burn it down and destroy it. We have to cherish it and thank it every day that we wake up and breathe its air. Without it, we wouldn’t be here, without the trees, the air, the sun and moon that rises and sets, and the animals that we have as companions and for health. No matter what our views are, no matter what we are or how we look, we are all in this world together as a whole, and without each other and the things that surround us. Us as people would fail. And we would have nothing but empty space that surrounds us every moment. In a world of beauty and sacrifice, what more can there be?
