I tap my fingers on the steering wheel as I drive. I look to my left at the box in the driving seat. I let out a quiet sigh before looking at my kids through the rear view mirror "hey guys..do you mind if we stop off somewhere quickly?". They all grumble something or shake their head. I smile and I take a left towards what is now my old street.

I had just picked the boys up from school and we were going to drive straight to New York. I pull up outside of a house and I get out the car. "Watch your sister and shout me if she gets fussy" I tell the three boys. I turn around and I walk up the path to the wooden door. I take a deep breath before knocking on the door.

I haven't spoken to wanda in a month. Not since I shouted at her to get out and told her I was scared I'd kill her too. She has tried calling but im too scared of what she will say.

The door opens and I look down at the two arguing twins. "I wanted to open it" Billy whines. "You can open it next time" Tommy says before running off to find his mom. I smile at Billy as I balance the box of things on my hip "hey buddy. How the drawing doing?". "Its good..why haven't you been around?" He asks.

As I open my mouth to speak a redhead steps in the doorway. I stare at her as she speaks to Billy "go find your brother and stop arguing". The boy nods and runs off. Wanda looks back up at me "hi..". "Hi..um..I.. just wanted to drop these off before I-" I start to say.

"Why didnt you answer my calls?" She asks interrupting me. I look down as I place the box on the floor. I sigh before speaking "I was scared of what you would think of me". Wanda grabs my hands making me look at her "I'm not afraid of you Audrey...I would never be.". I nod and I try to look away from her.

Wanda places a hand on my cheek and turns me to face her. A tear falls down my face which I quickly wipe away. "I need to leave" I tell her "I need to leave before you make me want to stay". She nods and kisses me gently. "I love you baby" I whisper as I walk away.

I sit in my car again and I wipe my eyes with my sleeves. "Mom whats wrong?" I jump as I hear Harry's voice. "Why are you in the front?" I ask trying to sound annoyed. "Its too crowded back there.". I laugh slightly and I roll my eyes "I'm fine..I'm just gonna miss her". He hums and turns the radio up more so I can't hear James and Danny arguing. I ruffle his hair slightly before I start to drive. I take one last glance at the love of my life stood outside her house before I turn the corner.

5 years later...

"Would you three hurry up?!" I shout up the stairs "you are gonna be late to school and I'm gonna be late for work!". "I'm ready mommy" I hear my 6 year old daughter say as she sits on a stool eating her cereal. "I know you are baby" I sigh out putting a hand on the back of her head and pressing a kiss to her forehead.

I smile as my 14 year old, 13 year old and 11 year old finally come downstairs. Harry starts his first day at high school today. James is starting his last year of middleschool. Danny starts his first year at middleschool and Hannah is going into 1st grade.

I pile my kids into the car and I go to their schools. I drop hannah off then Danny and James. Since I work teaching 10th grade at Harry's school I drop him off last. "Be good!" I shout after him as he walks away from the car. "I will" he shouts back making me smile.

"Audrey?" My heart stops. I physically feel it stopping beating. I turn around and I make eye contact with two familiar boys. Both are now taller than me at 15. "Boys..hi. what..why..what are you doing here?" I ask in a shocked tone.

"Mom moved us here because she got a job in finance or something. We are in Miss carter's class" Tommy tells me. I look down at my lanyard as I lift it up to show them my id "it looks like your in my class. I changed my name back to my fathers name once I moved here. My kids also have that last name now. ". They nod and we decide to walk to class together.
