🧠-Taylor speaks her mind in a bad way.
No ones pov
Camille had been worried sick for a few hours now. It was past two in the morning and Taylor had not arrived home. She hadn't gotten a text from her either. Taylor had told her she was going to be at the studio all day and would get home before dinner time to put their son to sleep.
They had been having problems since the birth of their son, Asher, 8 months ago. They were pretending that everything was fine but deep down Camille was hurting. She had quit her job at the law firm to take care of her son, not wanting to miss any of his milestones. Taylor was always understanding of this and agreed it was what was needed.
There were days were Taylor would be out of town and wouldn't talk to Camille for a few days. She never gave an excuse, she just always apologized. Camille was afraid she was cheating. There were no signs but there was nothing else to explain her behavior. Camille was tired of it.
At round 3am Taylor came in making so much noise it was almost as if she was doing it on purpose. "Where have you been?" Camille was approaching her, the closer she got to Taylor the more she smelt the alcohol. "Who have you been drinking with? I thought you were at the studio with jack. Where did you go? Stop making so much noise the baby is sleeping you are going to wake him up." Taylor would just not answer her. She just kept walking towards the kitchen looking for something to eat. "Taylor, I am talking to you, answer me. Where have you been?"
The more Camille pushed the more her wife got annoyed. "For fucks sake, you think you can just disappear whenever you want? We have a baby now, you can't be doing that. You barley see him anymore. What is wrong with you."
"Will you just shut the fuck up! You're like a fucking headache that never goes away. You're always nagging me. Just shut up for once. This is why I don't fucking call you, you never know when to shut the fuck up. So what if I have a fucking kid, didn't you quit your job to be here with him? So deal with him, I actually have a job to do so I can fucking support you and that kid. Lord knows you're not making any fucking money now. You just sit on your fucking ass all day."
Taylor had exploded. Camille looked at her with fear in her eyes. Never had Taylor spoken like that to her. Tears falling from her eyes. "Okay." She felt defeated so she went to their shared bedroom and locked the door. It broke her heart when Taylor referred to their son as "that kid" like if he was something she didn't want.
She cried herself to sleep that night. The following morning though when Taylor walked into the kitchen, Camille was breastfeeding Asher while she ate her breakfast. "Good morning little guy." Taylor grabbed Ashers hand and let him hold onto her. She leaned into Camille to give her a kiss but Camille moved out of the way. "Woah, what's wrong" she asked. Camille couldn't believe it was she really that drunk that she couldn't remember what she said to her?
"You went off on me last night. That's what's wrong. You came home drunk as fuck at three in the morning then proceeded to yell at me about how I don't shut the fuck up and how I'm a headache to you. I think it's best if you stay at the guest house for the rest of the week. And don't worry I'll take care of the fucking kid."
"Fuck. That wasn't a bad dream?" Taylor rubbed her hands on her face. "I'm sorry baby. I didn't mean any of that. I'll give you space okay. We can talk about this later, I'll tell my mom to come take care of Asher."
"It doest matter that you didn't mean it, you still said it." Camille was speaking in a monotone voice. She wasn't feeling it today, she was really heartbroken over what Taylor had said. "Maybe we can talk tomorrow, I just want to be alone with Asher today."
Before Camille had a chance to go up the stairs, Taylor pulled her into a hug, Asher in between them. She just held Camille for a few minutes, Camille started sobbing the moment she felt Taylor's arms around her. "I'm sorry baby. I'm sorry I hurt you. Take your time alright? I'll be home for the next two weeks, if you need me to take Asher just text me okay." Taylor then have her a kiss on her head and let her go.
She really did hurt Camille, there was no excuse for what she did. She felt like the worst person in the world. She had to figure out how to make it up to her wife.
