The missing person

"Here, eat this for your lunch." He handed me a lunchbox wrapped in a hankie after opening the shotgun seat for me so I can go out.

"Edi wow." I heard Lex murmured from the back seat.

Mohan didn't mind it and motioned me that he'll walk me to the front of the building.

"Thank you, Mon." I sweetly smiled at him. He chuckled and ruffled my hair before bidding a goodbye. I pouted. Just ruffle?. . .

I sadly watched his back as he walks back to the car. I want to go to him and ask for. . .uhmm, nevermind. I sadly turned my back to him and started to walk, however, I stopped when someone hugged me from behind.

If it wasn't for his familiar perfume and warmth, I would push this someone already.

He kissed the side of my head. "I know you'll do good, baby."

I can't help but to smile like crazy upon remembering that scene earlier as I eat my lunch that he made for me. For me. . .

"Let me guess. Dating?" Lily asked teasingly while reading her transes.

"Secret,"

Minutes after, the exam started again. On the 3rd subject, I was freaking panicking because I couldn't find my scratch paper where I wrote my answer.

Shit! Ang haba pa naman ng solution ko roon!

"Somethin' wrong?" I was furiously looking for it that even Lily noticed me panicking.

"M-my scratch paper is missing." I whispered since talking is not allowed or else they'll kick us out of this room.

"This yours?" My eyes widened when she opened the crumpled paper and showed it to me. How come?!

I immediately nodded and took it, but frowned when my paper has a red ink, luckily, my answer was not smothered. I didn't mind the ink and wrote the answer on my paper immediately.

Sa huling subject ay maaga akong natapos kaya nga lang pag lingon ko sa lahat ay nagsasagot pa, may mga nakakunot noo pa nga. And that's why I am embarrassed to pass the paper. I'll just wait for someone to pass their's I guess.

"So this is were the connivance of Mr. Floyd live, huh." I said while looking at the white house outside.

"Look! There's a cat-" I stopped talking in shocked when a cat came out of a window covered with. . . blood.

I took the cat as soon as it came out of the fence gate. I checked to mend its wound but the cat's uninjured. How come?

"Go and check the room where this cat came out." I requested to Mohan just to make sure.

After a few seconds, he came back and pulled me towards his car. "Let's wait here until the policemen arrive." His face is now serious, nonetheless, he's still pogi.

"Hey, what happened?" I held his arm while looking up at him. Ang tangkad kasi, like hanggang dibdib lang ako.

"I saw a corpse." He said before leaning at the car. My eyes widened a bit before taking the bottle water to wash this cat after taking a blood sample that she's covered with.

Nagmalikot pa nga ang pusa kaya nahirapan akong magpaligo. "Ouch," I jolted when the cat scratched me. I heard Mon cursed before consoling me.

He even scolded the cat while treating my wound! I can't help but to smile at his cuteness.
