Prologue

Rain POV:

" Good Morning miss Alaine!"

"Morning"

I greeted them with a sleepy tone.I did not have a good night sleep because of the sideffects of the medicine they gave me before and im not in the mood to deal with someone annoying!

"Boo!"

"Shiπ"

"Did you just curse at me!?"

"Yeah i just did bro"

"Well that's unusual..tell me what's bothering you?"

"Welp i did not have a good night sleep because of the sideffects you gave me a couple of months ago....The memories just keep coming back without a warning "

I  look down and sighed then i look up to him...he gave me a apologetic look guilt and sadness are written all over his face...

"I'm sorry we just thought it's for the best"

The atmosphere between us is heavy so i tried lightening up the mood

"Mmmmmm i smell something yummy... Did you cook already?"

"Yeah?why"

"Im hungry lets better eat before i eat you"

"Like you can?"

"Then let's race going to kitchen:)"

He smirked at me

"Well if you don't know-"

"Bye baby sistah"

"Hey no fair!"

The nerve !?he just left me there while saying something.I ran as fast as I could and surprisingly i surpupass him

"Bye sucker!"

And i won the race

"Told yah im still faster than you!"

"Yeah yeah we better go if we don't want grandpa waiting "

And Then we both entered the dining room

"Good morning Grandpa!"

I ran to him and hug him tight

"Good morning Alaine how was your sleep?"

"Pretty bad the memories keep on coming back"

"I'll try asking the doctors later to give you sleeping pills...well what's the sound i heard outside?"

"We kinda race going here...but no harm done grandpa!"

Kuya told him

"Oo nga po"

Then i realized what language did i just used

"The heck!? Since when did i know how to use Filipino language!?"

"You stayed in th Philippines half your life so i won't even ask..."

Grandpa said with sadness in his eyes... he's sad because he didn't get to spend my childhood happily with him but i experienced pain and longing for my parents instead...I know what my grandpa did before because of the FGH but i never get to listen to my grandpa's explainaton first before judging him....i feel terribly bad after he explained his side to me...i made a promise to him that i will do anything to help him even if it means to KILL someone to make it up to him but i know he won't let me...Im still hidden up until now cuz everyone thinks i died along with my sister in the Philippines.

"Don't worry Grandpa im sure we can make it up to her in no time!"

Kuya said trying to lift up our moods

"Yeah you can make it up grandpa by teaching me how to use a gun..a sniper rifle to be exact"

"Are you sure you can train already?you know you don't need to know how to fight"

"Yeah im sure and this activity is our quality time right?"

"Yeah and im pretty sure it will be super fun!"

Grandpa is still very strong despite of his age.He master every fighting skills the world can ever know like melee,guns,and many more... He's still don't want to retire at the age of 65 because he doesn't want to burden us with responsibilities but sissy already took over the business overseas which is why grandpa have more time for us.He also trains my brother for he's the next in line for the company and i will be the successor of Gangfia.

3rd person POV:

And they started eating like a normal family... Happiness and joy are written all over their faces...But will this happiness last forever?They know that sooner or later the mafia world would know of her existence... Would they still be the same if the past hunts them down?
