Chapter 16 Christmas Day

I looked around for Joshua but couldn't find him all I saw was darkness and then out of now where a bright light and then I saw three kids plays two girls and one boy.

They looked so happy together they came running up to me yelling, "play with us, play with us." they little boy said and then the two girls I looked down and said, "were is your mommy guys?" They just looked at me and laughed and dragged me to were they were playing.

*Joshua's POV*

Last night was horrible all I remember was her holding her stomach and falling over and I caught her in time, I laid her down on the floor while my mom called the ambulance.

Soon as the ambulance got there they rushed her to the hospital. They wouldn't let me go with her in the back so I drove behind them.

Before I left I looked at her dad and shook my head and said, "you don't need to ever come back here if anything happens to her or the twins just remember it's your fault." I said in a mean tone and walked out the door and drove off.

Once I got to the hospital I ran up to the front desk, "hello I'm looking for Nicole Gullett I'm her boyfriend also the father of the babies she caring can you please tell me where she is."

The nurse just looks at me and starts typing away on her computer then looks up at me, "they just got her into a room, you have a seat and I'll call you when you can go back there."

I nodded my head and went to go sit down and try to stay positive.

*30 Minutes Later...*

Finally the Dr came an pulled me to the side and talked to me.

"You must me the father if the babies right." He said giving me a worried look.

"Yes I am is Nicole ok, what bout the twins?" I said in a rush.

"Well she was stressed out and that's bad for the baby of course, her blood pressure raised Sky high which made her pass out and stared to cramp.

He said and all I did was nod my head, "is the babies okay though." all I managed to get out."

"The twins yes well there okay now but we will have to watch her and them over night to make sure but she has to have her rest no stress at all or it can hurt her and the twins." he said looking me in the eye like I caused this.

I just nodded my head and said thank you and went into her room and sat there till she woke up."

*Nicole's POV*

After I played with the three little kids they looked at me and they gave me hug and the little boy said, "we will meet again soon one day." He said with a smile and the little girls just laughed and giggle.

They said there goodbyes and then they disappeared right in from of me and then the bright light started to fade.

Soon I heard loud beeping sounds and when I open my eyes all I saw was white ceiling and a bright light coming in threw what seems to be a window.

Then finally it all came to me, I sat up and put my hands on my belly hoping there be a bump there and luckily there was.

I turned to my left were Joshua was past out in the chair. I didn't want to wake him but I had to pee really bad though so I just buzzed the nurse.

Soon the nurse came in and helped me to the bathroom, after I did my business I wobbled back out to my bed were Joshua was already up once he saw me he jumped up like two feet in the air like something done got him.
