Katelyn's POV-

His eyes haven't changed a bit! His eyes still show a reflection of our memories. A reflection of the life that he still leads that I thought he didn't anymore. How is this possible? It doesn't matter. All that matters is that he is here, really here, for the first time in forever. There is no doubt in my mind, it really is him.

"Derek? It's really you!"

"We've missed you."

"We? Who's we?"

"They'll explain everything."

"They? Who's they? How is this happening? Not that I'm not happy, I am, it's just so, unbelievable!"

"Just follow me. I'll answer any questions after we get to.....our........destination."

"Ok."

Looking down for the first time since the bright light, I realize something. Something that was so completely confusing, I could not say a word. My legs are gone, and in its place, is a teal tail. Just like my brothers, Derek's, tail that was green. I want to say: "We have tails! Why do we have tails?" but it wouldn't come out. All that came out was a gasp followed by stuttering that could never be comprehended. It was going to be a long swim. A long swim that would lead me to a next time to do something that I have always wanted to do. Something that I've always wanted to do since May, when I was seven.
