Time heals the mind
I used to hurt
I used to bleed
but its all over now
and I will allow
it was a promise I made myself one day
I said, "it can't rain forever when everything is grey."
and I was right
because in the light
I found my heart
can make a mark
and my mind
can make the time
to make everyone remember
that everything can and will get better
because for me, it did.
