I missed you
"I love you, but the way an addict loves the high"

"It's cold" I said, pulling my jacket around me tighter as we stood in front of the grave stone
It had been quiet for too long
He was just standing there, staring
He didn't respond• Rogue's Outfit •
I threw a glance over my shoulder
" I don't know why we had to bring those either" I commented, eyeing the black car full of guards waiting for us
Lucian clearly didn't let up on security when it came to ArmanoSin sat in the driver's seat of one of the cars. With one of his men next to him
"What was she like?" He asked again, his voice quiet in the morning fog
"I told you... kind" I shrugged
"No. I mean... I don't know what I mean. I just miss her" he said"Can I even miss her?" He chuckled sadly
I sighed
"She was bossy. In a good way. She'd complain about my room being a mess. She'd pick me up from school, most Fridays we'd go and get ice cream. Just us" I smiled to myself at the thought"What did you find the other night?" He asked
"What?" I asked, he knew where I went?
"You left, looking for answers about mum, what did you find?" He asked
I glanced over at Sin's car, wondering which one of them fucking talkedI debated whether or not to even tell him
"I have a lead, that's all so far" I said vaguely
I didn't need him getting involved
He was weak.
And once I'd killed whoever this prick was, I was booking the first plane out of hereIt was better for us not to get attached
"Dad... he does want you here" he tried awkwardly
"I know, otherwise he'd let me go. But that's the problem" I mumbled at the endHe should have let me go the moment I got out of jail
They shouldn't develop feelings
Or attachments
Because then they'd only be more disappointed when I was gone
