The Fairy Tail

All alone again, sitting on the bench. I stare at the kids, running around the playground.  Just one kid would turn around and stare at me, that when I straighten my back, waiting for the kid to feel sympathetic for me, but no. They always just turn around and return back to their group pretending I wasn’t there. I would always go back to hunching my back feeling lonely. I close my eyes and let my imagination take me away for a while.

Imagination

“Once upon a time a little girl was born, everyone felt jealous of her because she had such wonderful parents. Her parents were very rich, after winning lottery after lottery. You might think these parents are people who go at drink alcohol, and get drunk, but there not. The little girl’s parents are very generous people. Every time the won they would deposit half of their money to charities and places where money is needed most. Every time they saw a homeless person on the ground they would give them money and buy a cheeseburger for them. Every time a child was lost they would help the child find his/her parents and they would speak politely to everybody. Though one day, the little girl’s parents were murdered by the council of their city, because they were jealous of how they were always getting complaints about not giving money to charities, instead of getting compliments. No one knew who had killed the girl’s parent, not even the little girl as the council kept it very secretive. As the girl grew older, she had lived in an orphanage, mostly her whole life. No one treated her nicely as they all thought she was the one who had killed her own parents because she was the only one in the house when her parents died. Everyone blamed her, literally everyone blamed her.”

Reality

I opened my eyes, and figured I was no longer sitting on the bench, in fact I didn’t even know where I was. Tears were running down my cheek because of the horrid dream. CLICK, the door opened and a man wearing a white coat entered the room. I let out a tiny screech because I though a ghost entered the room. Unfortunately, the ghost was actually a doctor that when I figured that I was in the hospital.

“Ah, I see you are awake”

“Yes, where are my parents?”

“Don’t you remember? But your parents died a few days when you were born”

Tears came running out of my eyes

“Yes I remember, I just thought I entered another dimension where they were still alive”

“HAHA very funny, “

“How long have I been in here?”

“Astonishingly well…. You might find it impossible but you’ve been in a coma for nearly two and a half year,”

“WHAT! But I was only sitting on a seat,”

“Some kids told me you just took a nap on the bench, but when they tried teasing you e.g. punch your stomach, you never woke up”

“Go to sleep it 12o’clock right now, you should get some sleep, so yea… go to sleep though don’t sleep to long we don’t want you sleeping for another three years or seen your whole life”

The doctor left the room

“Did he repeat go to sleep twice?”

I went back to sleep seeing as it was midnight and no one would even think about playing with me, non-other would even  worry about me seeing they all hate me.

Imagination

Everyone blamed her because they all thought she killed her own parents. It was breakfast time and everyone was served a boiled egg, sausages and toast. Everyone chomped on their food happily except the little girl; she never did enjoy her food because she was always served cold porridge which look like it was expired three week ago. She took her bowl to the kitchen and asked the chef.

“How come I’m the only one with porridge?”

“Are you saying my food it disgusting my food?”

“No”

“Well, do you want to know why you don’t get my delicious cooking like the other girl’s?”

“Yes”

“Well, that’s because you don’t deserve it!”

She chef raised her hand really high, and in her hand was a huge frying ban ready to hit someone

Reality

I opened my eyes and screamed. I stopped screaming when I realised I was back in reality; I looked at the clock which was sitting on my bedside table. It was 8:00 in the morning.

“Good I didn’t fall asleep for a long time; phew I thought I was done for”

I could feel sweat running down my forehead, so I wiped it with my sleeve.
