Y/N's POV:

"These heels are my favorite! Thank you, John." I hug my brother in gratitude.

Glad that he had been listening after all and got me some red stiletto heels for my birthday.

"Johnny." He corrects me, having a significant fondness for his nickname rather than his government name, before slightly disconnecting himself from my embrace.

"OK, Johnny."

"Ight, be back by 1, otherwise I'm calling mom." Johnny threatens me before disappearing into his room.

Johnny and I live together in South Korea, far away from our parents who are all the way in the United States. Still, that doesn't stop him from calling our mother every time he feels displeased with my actions.

Today is my birthday and I'm having a girls night out with my girlfriends, Jessie and Sohee. Despite having a curfew, most of the times, it really doesn't feel like one, since I would always be back even before 12. I don't own a crazy or an interesting nightlife which would require me to do so anyways.

After taking a thorough shower and putting on my new crisscross strap red, sparkly mini dress with my new heels, I sit down to wear makeup. It doesn't take me long because I'm only used to the minimum amount of it; foundation, powder, blush, mascara, lipstick.

I hear Jessie's car honk just in time so I quickly skip through the stairs in excitement, careful not to fall.

Sohee greets me with a smile as soon as I leave my house. "Wow, your birthday really pays off, otherwise you look homeless every other day."

"Shut up Sohee." I stick my tongue out at her before taking her seat in the passenger seat, despite knowing that she loves it the most.

"Gorgeous, you're defo getting laid tonight." Jess smirks at me before soaring off.

I shake my head while enjoying the cold breeze that hits my face through the window. Jessie is the opposite of loyal, meaning that she changes boyfriends more than she does her clothes.

Sohee, on the other hand, doesn't date at all. Something about not finding the right person and that she needs to fall in love first. In other words, she is a hopeless romantic.

Me?

I'm neither, because I went through a crazy type of heartbreak no one should ever experience in their life. What happened? Let's just say I'm done with relationships.

Jess parks the car in a designated parking space before we all exit it and walk towards Stars Night Club.

The place is filled with a bunch of intoxicated young adults grinding their bodies together. Although I'm not a fan of such places, I figured that I needed a change of environment for my 21st birthday.

Sohee shows me to the table Jess and she had arranged for me and I jump up in excitement before collectively hugging both of them.

"I love it!" I scream through the music.

"My makeup, let me go!" Jess lightly shoves my hand away.

We sit for a while before ordering drinks and cutting my cake, before Jess totally ditches Sohee and I to go shake it up on the dance floor. She instantly clicks with a random good looking guy she finds.
