The black family once noble were now a breeding ground for madness. All members got it but some got it worse than others.
The prime example Bellatrix , a girl who once flourished in her studies getting straight O's now a twisted woman only know for her insanity with
rumours going around that she's a death eater.
Sirius Black the black sheep of the family (ironic). The one who got away. But arguably one of the most madness infused blacks of them all. Because only someone who was truly mad should send someone to face a werewolf of all things and didn't even regret it . No the only thing he regrets about the whole incident was the Remus didn't finish the job. How ironic for a griffindore to be the most cruel but can't take the black out of black now can you?
But that is only two mere example there are countless more especially with Walburga Black. Her madness, well wasn't the most obvious thing but to her sons once you saw it you can never unsee it particularly when she was trying to discipline you. What she did was leave you on the floor in cripping pain was she screeched one word
"CRUCIO"
Regulus was left there all alone . Left there by his Brother who ran away. Left there by his abusers. Left there to suffer.
