And on our adventure we went, woke up at the crack of dawn, packed all we would need for a two day trip, got our horses and left.
Regrettably.
A pulling tug at my gut made me want to turn around now,
But there was no turning back now. Ty and I's forest home was long left, we we're now riding through a plains, the hot sun beating down.
Jin had to ride double with me, while Sub rode with Ty, since we only had two horses.
Jin had decided to clutch at the side of my sides, hoping not to make it incredibly awkward. Sub just went full YOLO and wrapped his arms around Ty waist.
"mmm, I ship it." I teased pulling my horse along side Ty's white horse, which he hadn't really named, but I don't think he cared.
Sub just grinned, burying his face in Ty's back, going along with my teasing while Ty nodded, "Yep, totally canon."
"But what about the Skylox?" Jin asked, while Sub removed his face from Ty's back.
I gasped falsely with shock. "B...but, Skylox?"
Ty shook his head, "No, it is Sublox now," He nodded towards Jin and I. "Skybop."
We all let out some short of laugh or chuckle, before silence came over the group. All of us thinking about what is yet coming.
Of course being me, I decided to break that silence.
"So, Jin." I said, " How is Tyler doing?" I had been wondering how our friends we're doing, we had a long journey ahead, so why the hell not?
"Good," Jin said. then he thought for a moment, "Wait, Logdot? or brotatoe?"
Oh, that was a fair question, "Both,' I answer, since both of them are fairly good friends,
"oh, both of them are doing fine!" He said, "Brotatoe is still working at Janets bakery, and Log is...." He thought for a moment more, "Well, I know he's doing fine, and actually, they we're both sent to find Jason together."
He shifted a little behind me on Sea biscuit. Leaving me to think, Jason...... My heart leap with a little excitement. I get to see Jason again! I had almost forgotten about that,
Not just him but Ian, Husky, Jerome, Seto.... Then I felt a bit of anger and regret as I added the last person and Mitch too....
We both still have to apologize....
"And how is Bodil?" I heard Ty ask besides me, pulling me out of my thoughts.
"Oh, also good,' Jin said, "He joined King Steve's army and who knew? He became the leader of the explosive units," He chuckled slightly. "He loves to scare new recruits with a little bit of fire works when they first join. Ashley usually hangs around him, making sure he doesn't cause more trouble then he usually does."
I smile warmly,remembering the Bulgarian with a happy snort, It does sound like the perfect job for Bodil, and Ashley? Sadness tugged at me as I remember she use to hang around Aviator instead, those two, what a pair. Not as dating of course, but as more a brother and sister relationship.
A short memory pulled me back as I remember seeing Ashley after she figured out he was dead.
I shook my head lightly as I asked.
"And oh god, how is Ross?"
Ty and Jin both fakely groan as Sub rolled his green eyes with a smile.
"Still wearing that stupid narwhal jumper." He said, we all let out another groan, "But other wise he is pretty good,"
We all let out another around of laughs, this time, all of them lasting a little longer. And for the first time during this trip.
I enjoyed my self.
