"mom ! dad ! im home !" a young eric had just come home from the park with jacob and kevin, and he called out for his parents, but he didn't get any type of response. "mom? dad?" eric called out again, and started heading upstairs. there was a sudden trail of red leading to his parents room. so out of curiousity eric, followed it.

and what eric had seen when he opened the door so excitedly at first made his smile turn into fear. his pupils shrunk and his mouth went agape, his breath catching in his throat.

there was both of his parents. their blood splattered all over the floor. there was a knife in his mothers stomach, and a bullet in his fathers chest. eric saw that the possible killer left the gun used to kill his father , but any other weapon that was used besides the knife was gone from the house.

"m-mom.. d-dad..? w-wake up..!" eric said quietly, dropping to his knees and tapping his parents in an attempt to wake them up, but it was no use. hot tears trickled down his face as he shakily reached for his phone to call 119.  he dialed the number as the tears kept rolling down eric's face and onto his shirt. he put the phone to his ear, and said, shakily. "h-hello..?"

"this is 119, what's your emergency? " a rather young sounding police officer said from the the other line. he recognized as kevin's mom. "m-mrs. moon..?" he said hesitantly. "eric, hon? what's happening? is everything alright?"
mrs. moon bombarded eric with questions, making sure everything was okay. eric sniffed before speaking again. "n-no.. my parents.. a-are dead.." mrs. moon was shocked to say the least. "eric, sweetie, you know where my house is, right? i dont want you to be in the house by yourself, the killer might still be in there. just pack your things quickly, you can stay with me and kevin until we can get in contact with your other family members, okay?"

"o-okay.." eric said, running to his roon and packing everything. books, clothes, plushies, etc. he ran out of his house, to kevin's house, but he stumbled over himself, and grazed his knee badly. he grabbed some medical wrap from his bag and put it around his knee. he had some little scratches on his hands, so he put bandages on them, too. he walked a few minutes to kevin's house, and arrived.

kevin came downstairs, while jacob was sitting on the couch, listening to music. kevin opened the door, looking down, and seeing eric all bandaged up made him feel guilty. "eric, what happ-" before kevin could finish his sentence, he heard loud sirens.
he immediatly picked up eric , shutting the door behind them, and setting him next to jacob. he sat next to eric, and then jacob took his headphones out, suprised to see eric again. "eric? what happened? did something happen with mrs. and mr. sohn?" jacob asked , concerned for eric.

meanwhile, the police were already in the sohn's residence , investigating carefully. they discovered a broken picture frame of eric, and his older brother, haknyeon. they wondered why whoever would take the lives of  these innocent kids parents. they eventually went to where the crime scene took place, the parents bedroom. they bagged up the knife and the gun, as well as the bodies to be sent for autopsy.

back with eric, jacob and kevin.

" t-they're dead.. guys.. " eric said, his warm brown eyes filling with tears again. "oh, eric..im sorry to hear that.. do you miss haknyeon.. if i may ask?" kevin said, guilt and saddness filling his voice with every word he spoke. eric nodded, looking at both kevin and jacob with hopeful eyes.

"he's in the spare room upstairs, but he might be asleep." jacob said, smiling a little to reassure him. eric grabbed his bag and headed upstairs quietly. he reached the spare room, and opened the door, peeking in. there was haknyeon, sitting on the bed with arms open. "eric, come here..." he dropped his bag, immediatly running into his brothers arms for comfort. eric sobbed quietly, his tears soaking haknyeon's shirt. "i know... i know.. but listen to hyung, okay?"  haknyeon cupped eric's cheeks, wiping his tears with his thumbs. "mom and dad are always going to be with us , no matter what.. under any circumstance, they'll always be here , okay?" he wiped any leftover tears from eric's face before kissing his head. "o-okay.." eric said , smiling at haknyeon.

" now , do you want to sleep, or do you want to play with kevin and jacob some more and then sleep? " haknyeon asked, returning the smile. " i wanna play with kevin and jacob!" eric said cheerfully, a bit better than before. haknyeon let him go, and watched eric run out of the room, he loved seeing his brother happy. "eric!" kevin and jacob said at the same time, looking at him as he settled himself in the middle of the two. "let's watch a movie!" kevin and jacob both agreed. they all cuddled up to eachother, and turned on mulan. about 30 minutes into the movie, they were all asleep.

it was the middle of the night and eric was all of a sudden in his bed, and someone floating above him, with a quite... revealing white outfit. "w-who are you?!"  eric exclaimed, while sunwoo motioned for him
to be quiet.

"I, am your guardian angel."
