Epilogue
The room was dark, tears trailing down my face. I look around, trying to find the source of blood, with the dim light my hands produced. I stepped in a pool of blood, the smell making my knees feel week. I staggered back, my elbow hitting what I thought was the dresser, causing a bit of blood to trickle down my elbow. My jet black hair fell infront of my eyes as I regained my balance. "Hello?" I called out, my voice cracking. Something moved in the shadows, and I sucked in my breath. I was too young to die, I couldn't die yet. I reached for the closest thing to me, which was a book labeled, 'The misfortunes of being married: How to fix your marriage in three easy steps.' I threw the book in the general direction where I saw the shadow move. A husky laughter filled the room, and I cried out as my foot hit something. I bent down, holding my hands over the soft thing my toe had hit into. "Mom!"
