"Wow... this place is amazing Div." i uttered while watching the peaceful movement of the waves, under the blue moon.
"It is." he said looking at the sea. I smiled as i stared at his perfect face.
It's our first anniversary as a couple and we're here at a private resort, celebrating it.
"Sana makabalik pa tayo dito no." nakangiting sabi ko. Tumingin siya sa akin at ngumiti.
"Of course, we will." he assured me.
"Promise me, ako parin ang mahal mo kapag pupunta ulit tayo dito." i raised my pinky finger for a pinky swear. He just laughed at me and nodded, he intertwined his pinky finger on mine kaya napangiti ako.
"Promise."
I smiled and hugged him.
"I love you, Div."
"I love you too Eliyah."
I smiled as i remembered his promises. I watch the peaceful movement of the waves, under the same blue moon. The same place. The same spot.
Naglakad-lakad ako, dinadama ang paghaplos ng puting buhangin sa mga paa ko. Napatigil ako nang makita ko si Div, he's watching at the same peaceful movement of the waves, under the same blue moon.
But you know what's painful? He's not watching it with me anymore, he's watching it with another person.
He broke his promises three years ago. Bumalik nga kami dito, pero ang mahal nya ay di na ako kundi ang kaibigan ko.
