The second the three step foot into the village the eerie aura and the sound of complete silence hits their ears.
Tanjiros nose is hit by an overwhelming smell of demon.
"It stinks here."
Tanjiro says, covering his nose.
Taiko sniffs the air a bit, looking around.
"I don't smell anything..?"
Yuna takes a few steps forward.
"It's so... empty..."
Yuna says as the clearest observation up u could make was that nobody was around. The streets were empty and the doors and windows to house to sealed shut, even though it was clear people were occupying in them, as light illuminated through the cracks.
There was a road lit up by lamps, as the three walked down, taiko wasn't paying attention and trips on a lantern pole, causing it to fall over.
Her slow attempt at catching only knocks it sideways further more smashing it down and smashing it, also putting out the fire within it and causing it to be noticeably dark.
Tanjiro and Yuna stare at Taiko, who was slightly bent down as she didn't fall to the ground, but did try catching the falling thing which caused her to bend down a bit.
Taiko awkwardly smiles.
"Whoops.."
A loud growl is heard, Taiko snaps her neck towards the loud noise, as a large shadow comes from nowhere.
As Taiko jumps away Yuna jumps towards it, unsheathing her sword already calculating this was the demon.
Easy enough right? Wrong.
As Yuna easily slice through its shadowy skin, the shadow droops the ground, becoming a 2D instead of 3D figure. It reattaches its head and scurries away.
The three stare as it does this in confusion. Yuna slowly sheathes her sword again.
"We're gonna have to find the main body."
She says, looking back over her shoulder to the two other teens.
As they decide to stick together the demon huffs in annoyance.
"As long as they stick together, this'll be difficult... those two bratty girls seem to be a problem... guess I'll just have to separate them..."
The demon thinks, making its move.
It lurks and uses their fears and emotion against them, the shadow demon first created a nezuko figure, which begin distracted Tanjiro.
"Huh?"
Tanjiro looks to his side, seeing a figure which looks like his sisters.
"Nezuko?"
It just so happen that this trip he didn't bring Nezuko, he decided to let her sit and rest at the butterfly mansion.
