Third Person's POV
At night
Chanel was lying undressed on the bed having a stranger on her top.
"Fast!" she uttered breathlessly, feeling the building pleasure in her core.
While on the other side of the town our golden boy was unable to slow down himself.
"Ohh oh.... aah!!" some unidentified female moaned in his ear.
While our protagonists were busy feeling the pleasure. Number 9283×××× interrupted the pleasure session, simultaneously.
They both ignored the first 2 calls. But surrendered when their phone ranged for the 3rd time.
"Hello! " they both shouted in unison in an extremely pissed tone.
The caller who called them, distanced his phone away from his ears after hearing their ear-blasting hello. He was a bit scared-shocked after hearing such a response.
After taking blessings from his god and ancestors. He finally built the courage to reply.
"Good Evening Ma'am, Good evening Sir! I am Jonathan Chase, Mr. La Notte's Manager. I- I called to inform, that your appointment is scheduled for tomorrow at 10:30 am sharp."
"Anything else!!?? " they both asked more like gave him some unsaid warning to not to speak anything after.
But alas! the poor guy couldn't catch up.
"Hope you guys have a great eve-..." BEEP*
They both hung up before even hearing his entire sentence.

Chanel's pov
//shuh · nel/In the meeting
Damien La Notte and Gabriel La Notte, the infamous La Notte brothers greeted us as we took a seat in their office.
Travis started the meeting by introducing them with the whole collaboration idea.
His expression showed demand. His attitude reflected dedication and respect towards his work.
This was my first time seeing him in his work mode. When I came to introduce him with the idea of our alliance he was on a different train. A train to annoy me and possibly get a reaction out of me.
Once the brothers were through with the idea.
I started "We will personally work on this project to make sure that there are zero chances of errors."
Their expression showed that they were satisfied with our idea and wants to give us a chance.
"How much time you think it will take to complete the whole project" Gabriel asked.
Travis started with his hands intertwined, resting on the table "The project consists of building 7 continental hotels. So roughly we would say.. Umm..."
"2 to 3 years" i completed.
Travis looked in my direction then nodded facing them.
"That's great!" Damien exclaimed.
"So we will show you our final presentation once it's ready"
"That would be nice" they said in a unison.
"One more thing.. We wanted to throw a party..You know to announce media about the project."
"That would be great!" Travis exclaimed.
"Yeah! We will surely join" I said with a big smile.
Once the meeting was done we were standing near the reception waiting for our drivers to unpark.
Travis turned to face me and smirked "Congratulations, Miss Desrosier. We got the deal."
"I told you, with my help you can bag this project in no time and see here we are."
He shaked his head lightly. "You haven't changed a bit. Still the same old Chanel."
My expression shifted. "Yeah...guess I am the only one who didn't changed from the past."
His eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
He opened his mouth, probably to ask what I meant by that but closes it once my driver arrives in his peripheral.

Zachary's Pov
//Za• kery/It was 10:30 in the night.
The bookstore was mostly vacant by now except for a few buyers and staff members.
I purposely choose to come this late to avoid crowdy atmosphere which will help me in finding a rare 18th century fiction.
I myself am not a big fan of books but Chanel is. Infact she is the reason why I am here right now.
Her lazy ass was too lazy to buy books on her own. So she begged me to do it for her. At first, I wasn't bulging but after a few hours of her begging, I gave in and came here.
I sighed.
Who am I kidding, she literally threatened to bleach my orange cat, white if I didn't search for her book.People are evil these days. I am telling you beware, especially of your friends.
Its been half an hour since I started searching for her novel. Shelves after shelves, rows after rows of books but still not the one I am looking for.
I let out an exhausted sigh while my eyes landed on a person on my extreme right corner.
He appeared young, in his early twenties maybe? His hands were busy holding a god awfull number of books, seems like an book enthusiast. Maybe he can help me find my book?
Lets give it a try.I walked in his direction and asked
"Uh.. excuse me?"
He turned to look at me with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes?""Hi I am Zach!" Out of my habit I extended my hand completely ignoring the fact that his hands were already occupied.
He looked at my hand and I realised. "Sorry!" I immediately bought it back to myself.
He chuckled. "Its alright, I am Adriel by the way."
"Hi, Adriel I was actually looking for 'Love in Excess' by Eliza Haywood . I was hoping if you knew where could I find it in here?"His eyebrow rose in surprise and fell with sympathy "Ohh, 'Love in excess'! You are actually a little late they just ran out of stock in here. But I have the last copy. If you want you can have it."
Is he for real?
"No No, its alright. I will look it somewhere else. You don't have to do that."
"Its actually pretty rare to find and also I already have its hardcover version."
"You sure..?" I asked a bit unsure.
"Yeah, offcourse. By the way you have a great taste in books" he smiled gently."Thanks for both" I smirked and we both chukled.
For some reason I stopped myself from disclosing the fact that this book was not for me but for a friend.
