Eric's POV

My heart raced inside my chest as Fiorella and I tirelessly searched for Alora in the sprawling Land of Eternals. Hours had slipped by since we had become separated. As a vampire well-versed in the secrets of this land, I carried a heavy burden of responsibility.

"Fiorella, we can't give up. We have to find Alora," I said, my voice laced with concern, as we trudged through the enchanting landscape.

Fiorella nodded, her brows furrowed with worry. "I know, let's keep searching. She must be out there somewhere."

I led the way towards the Eternal Dorms, where vampires congregated for a special event to strengthen their abilities. I motioned for Fiorella to stay close while I ventured deeper into the dorm vicinity.

Amidst the bustling crowd, I strained to hear the names being called out for a few chosen Vampires getting grouped for the festival. My heart leaped with a mix of relief and anticipation when I heard mine, Fiorella's and Alora's names announced together, along with another vampire named Asher.

"Fiorella, look!" I exclaimed, a smile tugging at the corners of my lips. "We're in the same group! Alora is with us too."

Fiorella's eyes widened, a flicker of relief crossing her features. "Thank goodness! We're together. Now we just need to find her."

Amidst the excitement, my ears caught the sound of another name being called. Alaric.

"Alaric is in a different group," I muttered.

With the groups assigned, my team was allocated Dorm Number 27. A sense of clarity washed over me as I realized I could leave Fiorella in the safety of our designated dormitory.

"Fiorella, stay in Dorm 27 while I search for Alora," I instructed, my voice tinged with concern. "I won't be long."

Fiorella nodded, her eyes reflecting trust and determination. "Be careful."

Taking a deep breath, I turned to leave when an angel, materialized before me.

"Do you know a girl named Alora?" the angel inquired.

My eyebrows shot up in astonishment, but I quickly composed myself. "Yes, I do. What do you know?"

The angel smiled warmly. "Alora is searching for you and Fiorella. She's waiting outside the dorm gate."

Relief washed over me, my tense shoulders relaxing. "Thank you, angel." I wasn't a fan of these creatures since they summoned me at the worst situations and gave me most of the tasks I never wanted to do but for once I was thankful because I finally found Alora.

I rushed to the dorm gates and sure enough, there was Alora, eyes lighting up when she saw me. "Eric!" she cried, running over for a hug. I hugged her, so grateful to have her back. My mission was accomplished.
